Possible end to "free" PPT :)

Well, i hate to pay $$ in game to have full potential... so either get rid of PPT COMPLETELLY or leave it as it is. Some people do not have money to throw around, and WHY rich would be advantaged over average players?

In one, undisclosed game, you have to pay $50 for full game potential - and now, that's what I call greed from their admin. I understand admin needs money to run this game, but what is too much is simply too much. And frankly, I would hate to see that happening in SGW as well.

So, yes, remove PPT, but completelly. Not only for average players, who cannot afford to spend tons of $ on game they enjoy playing in their free time. And, before you flame me for being 'poor', think of it, actually.

If you make ppt $$$ Buying again it will look like a money spinning exercise and annoy everyone, if you replace it with this, it will annoy everyone else, if you leave it the way it is its quite fine, youl take GREAT care in noteing that since the introduction of "ppt for naq" and so on, there have been almost 0 complaints about people "doing one onto ppt".

I am against the removal of PPT for many reasons stated by other people.

Biggest of which is not wanting to have to wake up a couple times during the night to bank.

A realm would be able to shift itself out of the normal space and into "lower space" in this realm you can't be massed spied on or sabbed..

However you can still be attacked for naq.. And you don't generate G&R points or turns, and your planets effects are nulled... I also think he said that you wouldnt be able to attack anyone and only shift your realm once per day (I was really busy in work so I might have misread this)

so basically what your saying is that the bigger players who do PPT shearly for bankspace will now go on "space" and then attack someone to get rid of it to keep their full daily generation as they have a big defence and therefore dont actually need protection and the little guys that NEED protection have to get f***** over and lose lots of their daily generations AND can still be farmed (which isnt a problem to the people with the big incoimes as they generate more defences too) all to keep the equality of the game? hmm smart thinking B2.

lets face it PPT for anyone is a vacation but atleast for the little guys it can be used to help grow, bigger players dont need protection as they never get farmed anyways (if they beleive in defences anyways) and therefore PPT really has no effect on bigger players meaning the only person it really benefits is the little guys so there is no need for change, well not to PPT anyways somewhere within the game changes are needed but not here.

If ppt was taken away I would very likely quit.

I used to play KoC (Kings of Chaos) another popular and successful mmorpg based on the black nova trading game (which SGW is also based on). I quit playing because it didnt have anything like ppt, so unless you wanted to use an auto banker, it was kinda stressful having to constantly think about whether your gold was going to be stolen during the night.

Having PPT the way it is... where I can basically not even have to think about SGW for 4 days out of 7 if I want to, is what makes it playable for me.
Having been in the situation of playing an almost identical game which doesnt have ppt, I can assure you that it is no fun whatsoever.

Anyway admin suggested it not me and i may have misread it.. Anyway whats the point of playing a game if for 50% of the time your not actually goign to play it?

I mean if Massa pulled over in the F1 race yesterday with more then 50% of the race remaining and he still won you wouldn't think that was fair..

The idea I think behind space is to make people play the game rather then just have a huge account leave it for a few days and login and some people prehaps profit off of it..

I play the game, and I do utilize PPTs around my personal life to their full potentional.. Maybe even a slight ajustment to the costs of PPT like say 10 times the resources and the alternative is this new space..

Also at the end of the day if Admin ever decided to change the system you would either like it or lump it. I know many would complain but your actually lucky to have "free" PPT's most games you either have to pay $10 or go on vacation mode for a break..

Umm no thank you. You don't even need to spend $$ to get PPT anymore. $$ helps the game out in making money for the admin, for the players as well. You have often criticized PPT, but SS too needs more money, but you don't complain about that.

You know I really don't know why people have a problem with this but heck I'm only me and when you make a statement like that the first thing I wanted to do was sit on your account till you deleted but I am above that.. Especially becuase I will know you will hide on PPT for 4 days every week..

Anyway, for those complaining about having to wake up and bank every night thats why you set your realm to critical and nox when you go to sleep to reduce your income to as little as possible..

I NEVER said this was reality and coming true I just said it was possible, and I also stated that I may have misread aka I am falible.. However I do know that this was mentioned in the admin chat, so I may have gotten some of the facts wrong but not all of them..

EDIT and just so you don't think I have a real life I work in an internet cafe atm so I spend my working time on the internet what a great job paid to be on the internet I also do use PPT for 4 days a week to spend time with my girlfriend, who we do lots of things together, just last weekend we went and got her to become an offical Irish Whiskey Taster, afterwards I took her out to dinner and then went clubbing, on sunday we laid in bed till 3pm Then went for a really long walk in the park, and then went to a theme park where I won her a marge simpson doll in a fixed game... This weekend she's taking me hiking up some mountain and then on sunday where going to the ballet I dont want to go but if she comes karting with me then I suppose I have to..

So if thats not me having a real life I guess nothing is..
