Ascension cheaters.

Well since my name is prominently mentioned in the CHEATERS list (even after being exonerated by Forum), I would like added to the list of cheaters everyone in main who is ascended who just quick ascended for the bonuses and didn't play ascension at all. The ascension server was for people who wanted a new challenge that main could not provide. It was meant to be played, not ignored. Those who ascended for the bonuses and weapons only and did not play ascension exploited a "loophole" in ascension knowingly and for the sole benefit of taking advantage of the bonuses granted by being ascended. Judging from the condition of at least half the accounts in ascended, I would say that that would put a goodly number of you on this list. I will let Admin Mark decide what constitutes an ignored account. I would suggest that everyone with six or more ascensions with less than a million planets be included in this list. But that's just me. And, FYI for EVERYONE who called me a cheater, as soon as I realized that I had exploited a bug, I reported to it Forum the first time that I spoke to him online after the incident occurred. I am sorry I couldn't do it earlier but my powers of telepathy do not kick in until I break 180 million planets (probably about Saturday sometime). Have fun!

While I see your point I must say that everyone would have the 1 mill planets if they wern't raided everytime they got close. Just an observation.

Glad Forum cleared that up. Hopefully he will put some better ideas in place soon.

umm no, seeing as they can be de-ascended (loosing their main account boosts) they just ascended in a dumb fashion. If you are so annoyed with them ascending just for the main stat boosts, de-ascend them all.

Theres no such rule, that all ppl have to build 1 mill planets on ascention.... If they will be weaker there, thats their problem, cause they are up to descention if someone stronger goin mad. Also I would solve the issue with 0% bonus to those on vacation on ascended. Cause theres a real loophole...

From another point of view... Everyone spend pretty much resources on ascention, even if they made quick ones. So some reward have to be in place for that few million uu and trills of naq they spent on ascention.

I guess I should feel lucky after 8 ascensions and logging in 3-4 times a day since my first ascension, I broke 1M planets last month.

Though it did not take long for Omega to raid the few income planets I had...

What is all this about cheating? Ascension had many ideal builts into it. Many of which DD ignored there werent suppose to be alliances there, but odviously human nature took over and DD solidified themselfs along with their other Main mates.

So accuse players of saving what they have left if you like, I see no reason after I watched Corkscrew hit my account 4 times with a personal attack, that I have to sit around for another 2 days watching him destroy everything. Just as those in main go on Vacation while they are active in Ascension.

We all know that there is nothing safe in ascension, a superior force can destroy almost every unit you have leaving you with pratically nothing.

I agree with Shooting Star, but with some of the other points that have been made. Players ascend just for the main bonus. Recently I de-scended eight players from Dark Twilight who I suspect of doing this. Some were Living Gods who had accounts weaker than a newly ascended player, while others hadnt even bothered to use the APs they had ascended with. They were just dead accounts while these players actively played main.

Well I will gladly withdraw my accusation of cheating as soon as the rank mods and damage caps come off of ascension and I am free to descend whomever I please without being severely handcuffed. Besides, my SUGGESTION was to AdminMark. He ultimately has the final say in what, if anything, happens to these accounts. But apparently I struck a nerve. But right now, there are actually LG+1s out there that I am UNABLE to attack because they are ranked so low and the "Ascended Council frowns upon it". But until such time as that happens, I say that there is a bug being exploited to make "virtually" undescendable accounts in ascension without playing or giving up a lot of resources, while maintaining bonuses on main and that this bug is being exploited knowingly. You realize, of course, that nothing is going to come of this because at least half the people on the ascended server would have to have some penalty imposed on them if it is indeed found to be cheating. I am just pointing out that, because you were able to do something ONCE because of a bug, does not constitute cheating. Jason has cleared me of any wrongdoing in the vacation mode thing. It was a coding error (which I believe he has since fixed).

Back in december I swapped accounts my LG+1 one which I didnt really lose all of my main stuff to ascend but lost a lot for my account size...

for a prophet one where it wasn't too powerful

I have since done ascensions up to LG+1 costing 1million+UU each time to improve my ascended stats...

my stats are ok but my growth isn't great... I'm building up a defence/covert/assasins to help protect me...

I only get 3.3k planets/day for 1300 fleets which I thought was quite good...

my main account is quite small 7 mill (would be a lot higher if I didnt do costly ascension - for my account at least...)

I dont like the idea of 1 million planets as personally I'm only at about 200k planets...

Which has been about 90days considering the account I got still had the APP from the first two ascensions for a whopping 84k APP

I have been playing and improving to the point where I can defend getting a larger income... and continue to grow more... my stats are quite good... I'm sure you can spy me and see as my ascended name is the same as my forum and main name... I'm trying my best...

but the way I look at it when I get to 50mill+ armysize I have 4 more ascensions where I will have lots of naq/UU to sacrifice to my ascended account... to make it far better.. at least thats what I'm aiming at anyhow...

and my main account will be able to recover from much much much larger ascensions easier...

oh yea thats it... I wouldn't class myself as a cheater ascending purely for the main bonuses... I have long term goals... such as my main long term goals of getting to page 1 and rank 1 and 50mill armysize then 75mill and then 100mill or whatever the unit cap will increase to next

Dont bother Mojo i can name almost anyone from TL and they all have pretty nice ascended accounts and myself i have 1mill+.
Its not how 'good' you played ascension just for how long....

If ascention was played as it 'should have been', then there would be no alliances, and people would ascended with everything they have.

This means all uu's aswell, even ones beyond the required amount. Most people would call this a stupid act. I would be inclined to agree. While it is tempting to get 60 k APP for my 40 odd million uu's, I don't think that would be smart. But I suppose that is how the game should be played though, right? Everyone please raise their hands who did that. I am very interested. Also, don't raise your hand if you participate in alliance activity either on the server, as it is supposed to be a free for all.

Who all is left now. I know that I am not, but I curious to see who is truly playing the server as it was 'meant to be played.'

if it were after you , all that have larger armysises & had worked on they're main acounts would have NEVER ascended , in order no to loose all they're work & in ascensions all friendships would of been forgonen ...

come on - get real ...we humans have alwais liked to be help our friends & fight our foes - it's human nature to be socially active , and it's within human nature to keep as much of what you have worked for & strive to be better ....as it is to use everyloophole - at the time when ascension was built , there were only rumours about descesion , & just that ...only few had the vision to invest all they had in that dream - like Mojo & Lucky , whille most just saw it an oportunity to get their main acount stronger

now Mojo reapes the benefits of their believes & the rest ... including me , of my squepticism ...no risc , no gain - the real isue is what do we do about the peopel that NEVER PLAYED ascension , & JUST used it as a way to get to the bonuses - they got they're bonuses , & still have them , & they do not play & have never played - DO THEY DESERVE TO BE ASCENDED ?

if there's any way to get any respect for ascension & to help it become what it was meant to be , all that have not played ascension in let's say - a month - SHOULD BE DESCENDED by default - & I'm not talking about vacation , cause vacation is meant to protect your acount whille you are away & keep it safe in times when RL shows it's nasty face ...


& the imbalance in ascension powersquemme & the abillity for others to chach up , that is what a new thread should deal with ...but this is doable , is easy ...why have abandoned acounts in ascension like there are so many in main , to raid , maybe ...but if that abandoned ascension acount harvests an active main acount - raiding in ascended should be done only on accounts active at least once in the last 30 days & all main acounts taking advantage of ascended bonuses, withouth playing , or being on vacation DESCENDED

I was just asking hypothetical questions. I personally do not play the server like that, it would be stupid to, as you have pointed out very well. At the same time though, that is how admin intended the server to be. Was it realistic? Not really. But if you are going to argue that other people are cheating because they are not following what he intended in one aspect, then I will argue that nearly everyone has cheated because we are not following what he intended in another area.

And when you say "the real isue is what do we do about the peopel that NEVER PLAYED ascension".. Well, I played ascension actively. I logged on anywhere from 2-4 times per day(well above the average according to most people I have talked to, CoP members included), I kept my turns below the max(so I was never wasting my at's), but I still didn't have a million army size. Does that mean I didn't actively play, and thus was cheating? Because that is the category that Mojo placed me(and many others) in.
