Some folks would like to see Nox be less attractive. Here is my suggestion to do this.
If you are on Nox, you do not gain attack turns.
The in game reasoning for this is that the Nox do not like you preparing for war while you are using them as shelter.

Mine makes it so Nox is actually not a good state to be in if you like to make war. And if you do want to make war... you will have to buy them another way.

By exploiting you mean, going on nox then jumping back on it after doing an attack? A time limit may have to be introduced then I guess. Or like you said no turns.

Well considering that Nox doesn't work, it definitely needs to be changed. Personally, I think main should be just like ascension. You can use a max of 450 attack turns against someone before you can no longer attack them until the turn change. And then Nox could reduce that number to say 225 attack turns. Let's put some strategy back in the game instead of "let's see how many turns and people it takes to mass a 3.3 trillion defense".

Interesting, I personally find the attack limits in ascension a terrible deal.
It virtually insures that you have to be stronger than your opponent to hurt them, whereas I have always believed that if you get enough n00bs together they should be able to take down the bigger players defense.
It helps keep things fluid, and insures a lot more expenditure of resources – which is a good thing imho.
As for the solution here: I don't think locking down AT generation would be that big of a deal. I know I make most of my AT's off the market, and would have to be on Nox a loooong time to really miss out. It would only affect n00bs.
I must also agree with the massing business. The only thing Nox does right now is annoy raiders farming inactive accounts.
I think Nox needs a complete overhaul and change in purpose before we start assigning it's cost.
