there are actually LG+1s out there that I am UNABLE to attack because they are ranked so low and the "Ascended Council frowns upon it". But until such time as that happens, I say that there is a bug being exploited to make "virtually" undescendable accounts in ascension without playing or giving up a lot of resources, while maintaining bonuses on main and that this bug is being exploited knowingly.

This is a valid point, It is not right to be able to keep your ascended bonuses in main and have an untouchable account.

Yes it is , Well I suppose, but i suppose thats a tactic for other ppl then, sum ppl dont play acsended coz they dont have the time...

As ascention doesnt need a lot of time that isnt really a valid point. Even logging in for two minutes per day would be enough.

Also, the system that means you cant attack someone if they are too weak just makes a joke of the whole game because the guys who play the game as it should be played can only attack each other, while the guys that never bother to play are untouchable!!!! It would actually be a benefit to have never built your ascended server account, and this rule also benefits those that ascend with as few APs as possible (to stay weak).

It is a rule that goes against the spirit of the game!!!!!

not everyone likes the server ....... i have an account in chaos, but dont play it!! does this mean i am abusing a bug and should have my account removed?? no way!!

i dont like ascention ........ it bores me, the backgrounds are TERRIBLE and the style of play doesnt appeal at all!!

u say people can catch up?? lmao, u could ascend with 10trill naq +30 mill uu and still need another 3x that to get remotely close to the medium/large players up there!! annnnnnd ..... if u did do that, someone would raid u as soon as u got above 2 mill planets anyways lol!!

UR OPINION is that this is a bug, my OPINION is

A) i dont have time for 2 servers and shouldnt be made to suffer in main because i refuse to play another server.
B) make ascention server fun .... and i'd have given it more of a shot
C) this topic is kinda pathetic

if ascention is made so that u HAVE to play it ....... then main will either stagnate and die, or will need some sever changes to even out the playing field ........ because an LG vs and unascended race, aint even a battle its a massacre, their weps die faster, u need more trained troops, their bonuses suck ......... need i go on?

doesnt admin strive to make this game fair to all? not everyone is at school/college etc, with plenty of time on their hands to play 2 servers. Those who play main only, shouldnt be peanilised for such things!

if there's any way to get any respect for ascension & to help it become what it was meant to be , all that have not played ascension in let's say - a month - SHOULD BE DESCENDED by default - & I'm not talking about vacation , cause vacation is meant to protect your acount whille you are away & keep it safe in times when RL shows it's nasty face ...

I agree with this point entirely! I spent ages telling myself I wasn't going to ascend, then I reached a point where I had the choice to either ascend or pump a lot of resources into boosting my main account. I chose to ascend and I'm glad for it! It adds another dimension to the main server. If someone doesnt bother to keep their ascended account occupied then they shouldnt have it.

That wouldnt be abusing a bug becuase it's completely detached from main. Your actions in chaos wouldnt have an impact on your main account unless someone had a problem with you but couldnt hit you there.

Look at it this way... maybe every1 else didn`t underestimate ascended and are now not penalised enough. Maybe you overestimated it when you expected you`ll be handed the testicals of all main players on a silver platter down the line...
Don`t be greedy, you dominate the entire server, isn`t that reward enough in itself heh? And you do get to remove the bonuses + demolish entire accounts.

Bottom line is, if it`s inactives reaping the benefits are what you`re pissed about, what else did you expect?
You`ve been esencially selling fog/a cat in a bag to new/unasceded players. Open the discussion and info about ascended so ppl can make a well INFoRMED deciosion about ascending, if you want to penalise them for said decision! A guy can`t find **Filtered** about it, ascends, finds out how the server and climate is up there, and is now stuck with a server he won`t play (for obvious reasons, wichever that may be) and on main with a prior account in all it`s glory... sweet! Just broke 2 windows using one stone. Of course he`ll make the best of it by going for the easy lg1... It`s not like he had any choice. If unascended accounts weren`t such cannon fodder and ppl actually knew what they are getting themselves into perhaps we wouldn`t have this problem. But you (imho) shouldn`t penalise ppl for past decisions/actions they were/are a)forced into to stay marginaly competative b)made with little or no info about the actual state.

This is what bothers me: all the hypocracy... You won`t tell ppl nothing and you`d penalise them for the leap into the unknow, once they decided that the place they landed (with substantual outside help) isn`t for them. You wan`t ppl to play it more, but the incentives you give are promiss of ever being under a heel of the dominant "political wing" and pushing for penalties/removal of restrictions for you at every turn... But the thing is, if you push your agendas hard enough ppl won`t start to play ascended, they`ll quit main too, I fear.

I have also suggested removing the "hidden" part of the ascended path. It really seems foolish now anyway. Anything to get the server more active should be a good thing.

TBH if a player has a contact that is ascended they can find out pretty much anything they want to about ascension. If they are really close to ascension then the odds are that they will know several ascended people and then they will help them to make an educated decision about ascending. Its even more likely that people will help unascended players if they are in an alliance. I know of several alliances with open boards giving tips on ascension and helping newer players decide whether or not its worth it.

Here is the deal. We are forbidden to discuss the ascension stuff anywhere but in the ascended forums. Any discussion outside the Ascended Forums is immediately deleted or moved to the appropriate forum. Am I going to give my alliance mates a heads up as to what I have discovered playing ascension? You betcha! But there is no way for me to do a server wide "playbook for ascension" without being censured in some way. You can talk to people about ascension but you cannot post about ascension anywhere other than the ascended forums and the only people with access to those forums are those that are ascended. Sorry about your luck. But I guarantee you that you all know a LOT more about ascension than I did when I first ascended. And you all have the resources available to you to make your first ascension a MONSTER ascension and really kick start your account right. I had no such option, because raiding and miners weren't a part of the game yet.

Dont bother Mojo i can name almost anyone from TL and they all have pretty nice ascended accounts and myself i have 1mill+.

Sorry Raven, you're one of the few who is past 1mill planets in ascended among TL. Extremer, Killy, Blahh, Madcat are all quite short of it. There's plenty more, just too lazy to go through your entire roster.

He tries very hard but because of how the member base has abused the systems he set up to make the game fair, he now has to find a way to balance it. There's quite a few loopholes that are constantly abused, by everyone. It's one reason that descension had to be watered down.

What is all this about cheating? Ascension had many ideal builts into it. Many of which DD ignored there werent suppose to be alliances there,

Honestly, if Jason expected to be able to put in descension that would affect a main account, but ascension stay allianceless, then he's completely deaf, dumb, and blind.

but odviously human nature took over and DD solidified themselfs along with their other Main mates.

I'd like to note that DD solidified ourselves WITHOUT anyone's help. Everyone else wasn't paying any heed to ascension so looking ahead we noticed the importance of ascension and built up. We did not build with the help of Omega or DDE.

Its hardly cheating

If Mojo can honestly tell me he expected everyone who quick ascended to be banned, I'd call him an idiot to his face. I don't think his intention was to get everyone banned, but to stir a bee hive. Which he has successfully done, and since there is a catch all rule that says that all loopholes should not be used and should be reported, I can't exactly lock this thread. At the same time, I can honestly say I'd like to.

Why is it unbalanced ?

People whined and got all these changes made cause some people were 'too strong'


So they built up, big deal. Such is the nature of a MMO, in RPG terms they did the most level crunching, yet cause its some how 'unfair' that they have the accounts they worked for, new updates were put into place to limit them.


Which has resulted in more cries and whining to 'update' the game to balance it further.

I say remove all those updates.

1 week without log in put you in auto vocation.
