Played through both parts. Saves work in the third part, but they do not appear after every level, but every so often, more often in difficult levels. Without cheats, I would never had finished the game. Loved it and looking forward Alpha in 4. part.

The Demo looks very promising. Nice work on the graphic part, looks more real this way.

 Ori fight with Earth? No way!

I'd just like to post a few of the sprites we'll be using in the next game:

Ground Troops:

The story of the game begins with us finishing our battle against the Enkyllians. We originally planned for the game to take place 20 years later, but that has been changed to 3 years later. The first mission of the game is extensive, and will play almost like a tutorial.

The majority of the game is about us, freeing the most powerful enemy the Ancients ever faced-the Nic'a'te'al (Pronouned NEE-SUH-TAE-ALL. I just wanted to say that to prevent anyone from butchering it...). Most of the time they'll be called 'Nicians'. They are an ancient race that fought the Alterans millions of years ago, and almost beat them. At this point, the Alterans weren't as strong as the Lanteans we know of, but they were still stronger than we could ever hope to be (and the Nicians still wiped the floor with them, with ease). They caused the schism between Ori and Alterans. The war began because the Alterans wanted to liberate the countless races under the oppressive empire of the Nicians, but they bit off way more than they could chew at the time, and even if they had the level of technology of the 'lanteans', they still would have lost-The alterans were scientists, not soldiers.

The only way the Alterans could defeat the Nicians (after the schism) is with a projectile-type weapon which could bypass their shields (Nician shields use a space-bending principle making their shield only require a fixed amount of energy, not draining or fluxuating apon being fires at). They developed the technology after creating their first experiment to study ascension, an advanced life-form, named Legyon. Were it not for the knowledge they gained from Legyon, the Alterans would surely have been wiped out.

Ultimately however, the drones could only hold off the Nician fleets. Their numbers were so great that for every ship the Alterans destroyed in battle, two took its place. The only way they could end the war is to trap the Nicians in a massive artificial blackhole.

So... we have one hell of a fight ahead of us!

About Unending, I did state in the Beta game that we saved the Asgard with an Ancient DNA re-sequencer. I know I wasn't very specific about that, but for canon purposes let's say that Sg-1 went back in time, and beamed all of the Asgard aboard a few ships, and then used the Ancient technology to heal their disease, and then to prevent any fudge-ups in the timeline in which we defeat the Ori armies, then we brought the Asgard to the future per their request.

See! It's just that simple! And yes, the remake of the first game will be let out, but that won't be out until after "Stargate: THe Ark of Truth" is released, as I want to have the whole Ori storyline in the game.

Expect a full demo of SGB IV by the end of the week, but likely sooner.

Hopefully by the end of the week, I can release the OFFICIAL demo, featuring the full first mission of the game. I know that the previous demos have featured the first 3-4 missions, but you should still get the same amount of gameplay in this one mission.

So far the game has been made to play out very cinematically. Now, considering this is Stargate, I'm going to put in a few self-referential jokes in the demo, that may or may not make it into the final game.

There will also be a 'logbook' feature. Whenever characters in the story have a conversation, you encounter a new enemy, or a new aspect of gameplay is introduced, it will be recorded into the logbook for further review by you. The logbook is located in the same folder as the game .exe, and has four different sections for the various databits that you will encounter during the game: Enemies, Lore, Transcript, and Manual.

The Enemies section will tell you how much health an enemy has, its attack patterns, and any suggested strategies (Helpful for boss fights). To update your enemies log, you must kill 10 of the given enemy (except with bosses. The Bosses will be updated automatically when the battle begins).

Lore will show you various history logs for the Ancients, Nicians, and Legyon's Covenant, and will only be downloaded into the Logbook if you want it to be. Lore can be downloaded by finding panels during various levels throughout the game.

Transcript, as you could surmise, will record all of the dialogue in the game for you to look over incase you want to recap what's happening, or if you accidentally missed something. Updated automatically.

Finally, the manual section is the 'playing manual', and will come with files already inputted. As you encounter new weapons and situations, the manual will update itself automatically.

If you can find all of the Lore log entires, and all of the enemy entries, and submit them to me in a .zip file, then you will have automatically secured your trial version of the Alpha game's multiplayer.

Sorry for the long dely, I (Again) forgot to update this page on the progress of the game.

here's the link to the demo:
http://64digits.com/games/index.php?cmd=view_game&id=3439

I feel obligated to tell everyone, that due to some moderate issues with my health (nothing potentially life-threatening), and my work on my writing carreer, I will not have as much time to work on the games as I once did. The others have been informed, and are prepared to pick up the slack. I will continue to work on the games, and update you all regularly on their progress. Sadly however, I will not be able to start work on the planned future games for the SGB series, V and VI.

As soon as the fourth game is finished, I will begin work on the SGB game that will chronical the events of SG-1 (Not atlantis, sorry). This game will feature a mission by mission play of all significant episodes in the show, a custom-battle maker where the player will be able to play as any ship they want and assemble their own battles, a mission re-play that will allow them to re-play any mission they already have, and lastly, the game will feature a multiplayer feature which will allow the player to fight others through the internet. The ships you get at first are the very basic and common ships encountered in the series. However, as you progress through the single-player missions you will unlock more ships to use. The ships will come from Sg-1, Atlantis, and even the ships that appear in our games. This game has been name 'Stargate Alpha', and is not officially a part of the SGB series.

Finally, after Stargate Alpha is finished, I will release the Game code for anyone to use to make their own Stargate games with, or whatever they wish to use it for.

Here's a demo for the Stargate: Omega game:

The first mission pits you up against gliders, Al'kesh, and a Ha'tak just like the first mission in the first game, except with a few... upgrades. Rather that spoil it for you, you can look and see yourself :)
