major issue: ascended accounts of deleted main accounts

On the "Realm" page... isn't "Descend to the Physical Plane - Leave Ascension!" just basically deleting your ascended account?

No, when you click it you are told that you're not ready to give up yet and nothing happens.

IMHO, accounts should not be allowed on ascended when there is no longer a main account. They were linked originally and the game design and intention was to maintain that link for the life of the account.

If you delete main, your ascended account should be automatically deleted. Also, any account that exists in ascended without a main account should be purged from the ascended server. A god without worshipers ceases to exist just as a leader cannot lead without followers.

From what I understand, this may already in the works. Can admin please confirm this is the case?

I think if you deleat your main account your ascended account should auto be able to create a new one. Solves the problem.

If this is brought in then fair warning should be given and if no main account exists forum should create one as a shell and put it on vac mode. I have now finally got my first account relinked and the second one has been deleted I am no longer an unintended multi!! I think the only problem is an ascended account with a different active main account rather than those players who just have an ascended account. I like the idea that if you had deletd there was a way of creating a new main shell, would have saved me a lot of hassle!!

delete all non linked asc accounts -simply as it is. if main account is on vac so shall be ascension.
if you need a list of non linked accounts contact me via msn (in case its to hard to filter that via php...).
