I Hate to doublepost, but could a mod or admin give us an answer on what IS allowed in SGW general ?

The topic is what is allowed in General, not Omega and what mod belongs to what alliance.

Tok`ra I would just like to point out that it does take time to get "complete" rulings on things of this nature.

Please allow us time to come up with as well defined answer as possible to minumize confusion as we are all sure it will be picked to death and gone over with a fine tooth comb for anything not up to par.

War threads -> Colloseum
Gameplay questions -> Newbie forums
Alliance specific -> Recruit or general (this one's a bit fuzzy)

Most are pretty clear, and where not, it's up to the mods.

I think this is the problem, that I dont quite understand.

When a person makes a post they dont think belongs in war thread, or any other section, it is then moved out of general into this or that, or somewhere else

or a war thread that is not major enuff is moved into general etc......

I really would like claification of what should go in general

maybe some classic examples of the type of post that SHOULD ALWAYS GO INTO GENERAL NO MATTER WHAT ....

I read the response, and im serious when I say, I have no idea what actually goes in general and wont be moved by any mod

It would be a lie if i knew the answer to that. I have seen the habbits of some and i am unsure myself quite often.

Indeed, we need an answer, I ask for one try to say how I see it and people keep saying 'but Tokras j00 broke rules before waaaaaaawwaaaaaa'

So what, Im a user just like any of you, and Im asking for CLARIFICATION of the rules, yet have yet to recive one.

Now, on topic, heres how I view it.



Newbie/FAQ - ingame stuff thats pretty obvious and has to do with basic things relating to the game, and dealing with other players.

The Galactic Colosseum- Threads about a war or conflict between two people or more, irrelvent of if one of the persons does not want to fight.

StarGateWars Chat- Anything to do with the IRC server.

Forum Specific Issues/Requests/Bugs (NOT GAME ISSUES)- As it says, anything to do specificly with the fourm itself.

Bugs- stuff ingame that strikes someone as weird and possibly not how it should be.

Game Suggestions - For suggesting things for the game itself, I think common suggestions rule there should be redone. Threads should only be locked as common if a thread on the same suggestion is still active semi recent, otherwise, the mod should just link to other old threads that had similar ideas

Discussion on Enhancements (ones already released) - For discussing updates allready active in the game

Discussion on Enhancements (coming up) - for discussing updates that fourm has announced, or alluded to.

Other - needs clarification

Seems to me like it means that ANYTHING relating to ingame that wouldnt go elsewere, but so far the mods have refused to elaborate (hopefully theres a thread in the mod fourm coming up with better guidelines)

Personaly, I think that ANYTHING that has something to do with the game, and discussing it ingame that does not belong inside the game itself belongs here, and should NOT be moved to spam or this and that simply because the topic has grown too large, whatever happend to letting the community decide, and if a thread dies its because noone posts in it ?
