Yep, the "community" appears to be those that are strong in the game and members of COPs.

Most others could not post without fear of having their accounts massed by Bill and Company or whom ever took over for him. Seemingly innocent post were often even targeted, not just the odviously insultive ones.

I like Tok'ra, he post a lot and much is SPAM but he is honest and not concerned with retribution. His ingame play though does represent what many would say is sterotypical COP, though he justifies it often, it is still much smaller players or alliances that feel his wrath.

The War is not the problem as others have said, The War is partially a result of the problems in the Forums the last 6 months.

how about you guys try to keep the stupid CoP/CIA discussions out of this thread? One of my points was that it doesn't help when people are stirring up the same stuff all over again and now you start CoP/CIA arguments in the very same thread where I posted it... duh...

I have to disagree about massing over forum posts, but I do agree that the war has added to the tension between players and because of this there has been an uncontrollable amount of flaming.

I mass much more than little players, 98% of my massing of the little people is due to hits on my officers or abusive PMs recived (like when raiding them)
And indeed, I could give a rats ass what people think, I do what I want and what I feel right (or if Im bored it is a GAME afterall)

sorry to dissapoint you but he is not. I know of some actions of his that many (everyone?) would consider being the opposite of honour. But that doesnt matter...
What does matter is that this community is going somewhere, but I woudlnt say downhill. It is an open society, working and having "inner flow" - by that I mean that people come and people go, same as in r/l. Some might have a feeling that is going downhill, but it is only because if you spend some time here and you get to know those that are really active, you simply are aware of their leave. And you miss them, hope that some day they will return...on the other hand, fact is that many have left recenty and that is not good for the community as they were the ones that made this forum look like a community...just my humble opinion

Sorry, hard to differntiate players from sides sometimes.

There is too much flaming or BS.

Players like Hells_Angel and many others on both sides can post just as "hey I hit this target or war is fun etc..."

There are many others that seem to take the game and forum way too personal and I feel this is equally though out the community no matter the alliance.

We still all share the game and the forum. There should be not cause for the interplayer anger. Especially for those without money invested into it.

Indeed, Ive had raventhan from 359co tell me I dont deserve to be alive after a few of his alliance m8s were decended.


On the other hand, I hear that mojo has sent some PMs to CiA members who massed him comparing them to terrorists and 9/11, which I belive because when I was at war with DD he also sent me messages comparing me to terrorists (which was funny yet extremly offenseve considering I spent a year in Iraq...)

Agreed. This is not game server but a meeting place, completely different from the SGW battlefields.
2 months ago we had a serious problem in work. One of my collegues was on the "opposite" side, but once we have finished arguing on profesional level and came back to college (OMG, he is my room mate), we were friends again, no matter what happened before, because that was a completely different environment...

Well from what I can see and in my own opinion everyone is to afraid to ask for help, expecaily on war threads or just asking for help in some way. Everyone thats more powerfull just casts aside there current issuses just to bully noobs. I only say this because when I was first starting off, I had an issue, asked for help, but instead was massed.

If you want some improvements in the community of SGW, STOP SCARING THE boogers out of them!!
