Personally I say take the whole forum offline for a week. So peole can get a grip on reality.

I dont care how much a lto of people say they play this a tiny bit w/e there are a ton of people on these forums that are on when I go out and still on when I get in, with like 6h gap.

Turning them off may help them realize its not serious and it IS just a game.

lol in my real life I don't even mention the game, as I seperate both, like some people say separate love life from working life, not same things here but well

I go to boxing training 1-2 times a week and believe me it's good for me, hehe

They tried takin the fourm off for a weekend.

It did nothing.

And pops, the problem with threads like that nowadays is some mods are TOO eager to move the thread right away, rather than let it run its course in the wrong section because people are ENJOYING it.

simple answer, hit their in game account with penalties & the more they offend the harded they get hit.

see how quickly this solves the problem ( & it applies to everyone, mods included)

If they have no ingame account delete, we don't need it

One thing I have done a few times when I catch it is.

A player will come to forum complaning about anothers offensive name etc...

Then a whole possee will start massing this guy without warning.

I will send an ingame PM to the player with the thread link.

Most of the time they had never been on forum and had no idea why they were suddenly under attack.

I would like to see more players sending a PM to somone they think has offensive planet names or account name before calling in the possee.

I though as many others hate rude PMs and Post in the game also.

I tell my kids you are treated as you treat others. Lets all remember this is a Game. And keep the forum and game clear of rudeness.

Sorry, Im older (41) before the computer I played games with my friends on boards (Diplomacy, D&D etc...) we were always on opposite sides yet they are all my longest and best friends from my HS days.

I dont know what it is about Online games, the simple fact is we are all playing the same game and even though we are on different teams in the game we all should be friendly here in the forum.
