Banked Interest and Loans

I know tht every 30 minutes you get your new turn and new Naq depending on your army size... but would it be possible to get interest on what yuo have in the bank? I saw a post earlier about taking out loans, would that be possible? Taking out a loan to say a max of 4 times what your max naq generation per turn is? You would have a set period of time by which you would have to pay it off by, and if you pass that time you will still a turn every 30 minutes, but you wouldnt get any Naq per turn. Also if you pass this period of time you could declaire bankrupcy where you would have to sacrifice say 50% or so of your total fighting force.

Just a thought.

IMO, if anything is done to the banking system, they need to move the transaction cost to depositing instead of withdrawls.

Basically, before the bank was implemented, you used to go on and find the 150,000 Naquadah you had been saving for a superweapon stolen and the weapons you did have destroyed

as for the interest its a bad idea. the reason a withdrawl cost was put on was to stop people banking every 30 mins then getting it out and banking again it stops every1 having 0naq some ppl are tight and dont like the 5% they lose.

well im guessing thats the reason anyway.

as for the loans that sound like a great idea,

I'm not suggesting getting rid of it, I'm suggesting moving it to the deposit.

what you meant to say then was 5% deposit cost (ie putting it in the bank) rather than interest, that means you gain money at a fixed rating ie 1% every day or whatever so if you had 1000 in bank by day 2 you would have 1010naq you get what i mean

I wasn't even talking about interest. I was only talking about the transation cost.
