A few ideas...

ok, just a couple things that have popped into my mind, let me know what you think.

Idea 1 will help the little guys catch up.
Ideas 2 and 3 will take the big guys backwards and give them that boost in main they are begging for


Idea 1...a monthly dosage of APP given to every ascended account relative to your influence power, the lower you are ranked in influence the more APP you get. For example, ranks 2000-3000 get say 100kAPP a month where top 10 only get a few k. When converted into LF, this would allow the lower guys to catch up, because not only would they get more LF, their levels etc would cost less than the big boys so would help their accounts extremely well. I also think this would encourage people to become more active in ascension. To avoid people using this as a way to not get descended (just convert all LF and not use it) there should be a time limit in which the LF should be used after conversion.

Idea 2...Cosmic Exploration Fleets learn to "explore" all the way back to the lower realm where they contribute to the main accounts UP rather then the ascended realms planets production. This could be done in a 1:1 ratio, basically converting, for example 10k fleets into 10k UP in main. However, it would have to count towards total UP and not be added to the RAW UP as people could then benefit their ascended account from it by ascending with a bigger UP and pulling more APP than naq they put into it.

Idea 3...similar principle to idea 2, but a direct conversion of ascended planets into main lifers and UU. To convert into lifers would cost less planets than it would to convert into UU as in main, UU are worth more. For example, 1mil planets in ascended converts into 100k lifers OR 50k UU. This might also bring up an issue of people being able to ascend again and using what they gain to further forward their ascended account, but any bonus that is given in main from ascended will encounter this situation, if anyone can think of away around this, please do share!

But if i read one of hens posts right and ppl are beyond 200mil planets, then they could convert 100mil into 10mil lifers giving a nice income boost in main aswell as reducing their lead by a long way but not so far back that they feel terribly threatened. And by converting CEF into main UP they would also lose some ability to then get ahead so far again. And, then, with idea 1, the guys who are behind and getting more APP monthly, might finally be able to catch up!

right, thats my ideas for the moment, please dont flame me if you think its crap just let me know why you think its bad.

all in all the ideas are ok but there are other inbalances in ascended that don't let players progress AT ALL and those need to get tackled first

On the contrerary, I like the ideas.

Idea one is a good one, and will definately help the smaller guys. Although 100k per month is not very much at all and could maybe be made to 1-2 weeks.

Idea 2 & 3 - I think they will both only benefit the VERY big players, especially the second one, Mojo will be able to grow ~200k main uu a day from this, and when you think about it, considering the size of his UP in ascended, 200k is not worthy, so maybe the rate could be fiddled with a bit.

Ascension is way to easy to get a MASSIVE account without any work after you passed a certain point....
Its like someone in main with a 10bill armysize and can just keep buying UU and UP......they will never offer so much that they can be catched atleast i wouldnt ......

Asc to main is really unthinkable unless it gets balanced so every has an even chance .....

I have another idea. Do you remember at Christmas, we got that free ppt button. lets say that simmilar button shows up in the ascended account, but it has to be un-announced and not at the same time for every one.
so if the player is active I m sure he/shewill recieve that "bonus."

understand what you are saying but even if it does give them something in main, mojo, sinister and the other massive ascended accounts need to be slowed down in growth somehow and i dont think they will take kindly to having resources taken off them, as that would be the only other way without it being something to do with main. And, anything they do recieve in main wont then make them able to grow extremely fast like they do in ascended, because at least there they have caps and plagues to deal with.

Yeah it is just WAY too easy to get a massive account in ascension. I mean, hell, all I had to do was ascend seven times over the course of a year and a half, avoid pissing off the wrong people at the wrong time, and give up 60 million UU and trillions of Naquadah in resources in main, while getting farmed by the LG+1s who quick ascended while I remained a prior and a prophet for quite a long time. So, yeah, Raven_, it was a piece of cake. Thanks for pointing that out. In fact, it is so easy that there are tons of people who are doing it. Oh wait! There AREN'T a ton of people who are doing it. And really Raven_. if it is so easy, then why doesn't everyone in CiA start playing ascension some more, build up a huge account, just concentrating on strike and Command Star like you are doing in main, and come mass the piss out of me for doing nothing? Now either it is easy and everyone can do it and you start playing and come take me down, or it takes some skill and you admit that I am one of the greatest SGW players ever to play the game. Take your pick.

2. dont like converting ascended UP into main UP. Maybe offering part of ur asc UP for a % of main UU? I mean U offer like 100 planet production and u get a % of the planet production in main UUs. Ur asc UP would be smaller, but u would get some UUs

Yes I agree that, right now, it is very easy for me to stay ahead. But to imply that it was easy getting here is belittling me and everyone like me who sacrificed like hell to get.......nothing. Please understand that I cannot descend anyone, I cannot really raid anyone, and I cannot protect my main account with my ascension account. You claim I have ruined ascension, but were it not for the millions and millions of UU I bought off you during the course of my seven ascensions, I wouldn't have been able to ascend nearly as well as I did. I notice you weren't complaining then. Whereas I was complaining about Juan LONG before he cheated and Macchiavellied his way to 100+ million UU. You call me a stat builder, which is true, because I can't devote the hours to this game that you and others like you can. So I need to stay beneath the radar and just use my account to build resources because I have neither the time nor the inclination to farm or raid. I am sorry if that makes me an anomaly. But I will tell you this: to get where I am without raiding or farming says a hell of a lot more about me as a player than it does some of the Johnny come latelys who acquire a massive amount of turns and then raid themselves up to 50 million because they have nothing better to do than spend 20 hours a day in front of the computer.

Did I raid in ascension? Yes I did. Did I go out of my way to purposely destroy accounts without just cause? No. Did I stop attacking people when they asked me nicely? Yes. Have I intervened on behalf of accounts NOT in my alliance (or the CoP) to get others to stop raiding/farming/massing them? Yes. Do I give advice? Freely; just ask!
Did I plan on my account becoming self-sustaining in ascension? You betcha! And every last one of you could have done the very same thing. In fact, it became considerably easier for you all to build up massive UPs than it was for me when I first started ascending. I will show you what you could have done to me before my sixth and seventh ascensions. These are the approximate APP amounts for my first through fifth ascensions: 5300, 12,500, 20,000, 24,000, 54,000. I kid you not. Now I didn't do all of these ascensions back to back to back so it allowed my ascension account to build resources for a time before I gave it a boost with another ascension. My sixth ascension was one of the first ascensions above a million APP at 1.5 million. My seventh ascension was just over 6 million APP. I haven't ascended since then, nor will I need to (or at least I hope not) but I have three in reserve, just in case. But currently I make more APP per day with my ascension income than any main account could possibly hope to produce in a month, even my premassed main account.

Now I will very gladly accept limits in ascension but there has to be some trade off. The only logical solution is to give back something to the main accounts that aren't allowed to grow anymore in ascension. I have already made many suggestions that benefit both sides of the ball but because my side of the ball actually gets benefits in my proposals, your side of the ball has conniption fits. You are trying negate everything I did in ascension without giving me squat for it in main and I am sorry that is just not going to happen. Now if they put a 450 AT limit on accounts for main, just like they do in ascension, then it might start to be fair again. And attack and rank modifiers and damage caps. Or let me give up some of my planets in ascension to build "ascension enhanced planets" for my main account. I have already made a proposal to Jason about that one as well. It would stop me from growing and would definitely allow you guys to catch back up. Anyway, I have to get off here, but you can't just arbitrarily say, take away their stuff in ascension but don't give them any recompense in main.

Why should you get something if your limited there are many people in main who are limited and aint getting **Filtered** for it either......
You want to much and try to insult people who arent just sitting around waiting for income ..........
You think you are a god for being one of the top players in ascension but your not........the limit in main really helped you alot i already explained to you why i think that its because people were stopped while some might have thought of doing bigger ascensions while being bigger.......


But you sont have to worry its to late for a limit right now your already to far ahead congratz on doing nothing and being invulnerable

You are contradicting yourself. You are saying that I am so far ahead and yet you claim that I did nothing. If I did nothing, I wouldn't be so far ahead. And the reason there was a limit put into the game on main was to stop people from multiing to freely transfer resources to one account. In ascension, it is impossible to transfer resources so there is no need for a limit. Those of us with huge planet counts got there on merit and skill, not market abuse or multi-ing. If by doing nothing, you mean I didn't raid and farm, then yes, you are right, I did nothing. But the very fact that I didn't HAVE to raid and farm to get where I am just proves my point that I played smarter and better than most. Juan could have easily broken ascension just as he did main had he done one huge ascension; he chose not to. I chose to play ascension and ascend slowly and gradually. I suffered for it a lot on main. But I continued on. I built up UP because I couldn't farm or raid because I actually had a social life and work to tend to. Basically what you are trying to tell me is that, since I don't play the game like you do, that my way is not valid and shouldn't be rewarded. Your style of gaming is a valid one, but it is also fraught with peril for if you raid and farm enough, you are eventually going to come across someone who can destroy you. By NOT raiding and farming, I stayed off the radar of most people and was able to weather the times that I couldn't stay off the radar. My point is: farming and raiding only work while you are online; UP works 24/7 and so does income. Same goes for ascension, only moreso because you have a limited number of turns.
