you play this game to actually have fun not to make your rl better, thats what a job does, i go on the forums everyday and see 1 more person selling for $! atleast once a day.


its ok if you need $ for a urgent reason but when people are just selling for the heck of it, its stupid. I cant really say i havnt sold for $ before but its only when i need urgent money.

there are a great many reasons why it should not only be allowed but encouraged.

take a look at the players who generally sell for $$$, most of them do so and have been doing so on a long term basis and have sold possibly hundreds of millions between them.

Image what their accounts would be like if they never sold those UU or that naq?

I firmly beleive that the people who are selling UU are actually enhansing the game and certainly not ruining it.

This game got to a point that the big guns where so far ahead of the pack that it was an impossibillity for anyone to catch them or even get close.

the game would have become pointess for them all as their stats would have been so high they would have become untouchable by the rest of the server.

I have been in that position in another game and frankly being untouchable actually does ruin the game.

instead they are selling those recourses to other players who are now catching them as a result.

My message to all those big guns selling UU and Naq..

keep on selling boys and girls cos for every mill you sell me and many others who love this game get that little bit closer

Selling recourses for $$ is bringing balance back to the game.

I would like to take a look at the readon why people spend money on this game.

I have seen responses here like "more money that sense" etc etc...

at current rates £40(approx $80 USD) will buy you what?? 1 mil UU, maybe more now as not looked at rates for a while.

last I looked that will more than double your army.

the last game I bough for a console cost me £40(yeah, we get royally screwed over in the UK)

I was bored of that game within 2 weeks and have never played it since and that tends to be the norm when I buy games for consoles. you play them you, beat them, and you get bored of them.

I have been playing SGW now for 2 years and still love it.

In my book cash spent here is a damm site better investment(based on fun values) than cash spent on console games.

and yes peeps. I have spent cash on this game over the last 2 years but if anyone thinks I am a n00b I'd be more than happy to prove them otherwise

with all that said though I would like to stress that I am not suggesting that you need to spend cash on it to enjoy but anyone who thinks that skill and determination will get you up there with the big guns is living in a dream world, cos if they stopped selling their **Filtered** you would need to be playing around 100 hours per day to even begin to claw back the lead thay have and even then it would take you a lifetime to catch them.

I sold 12mil UU at the beginning of the war and I sold 8mil UU about two weeks ago to pay for my car insurance. End of semesters always suck and, I'm always broke. I sold because I had to, not because I wanted to..

Everyone are driving prices down, with my first selling round I sold UU for ca $65 per mil and, about two weeks ago I had to sell it for ca $40 per mil and thats a $20 drop in just one and half month.
