Does any players suffer from any illness or diseases

Well I do. I have Celiac Disease. I can't eat Wheat, Rye, Oats or Barley. I am on a Gluten Free Diet. I was diagnosed with it a age 2. It is Hereditary I have gotten it on my dads side of the family. My uncle had it but he out grew it. It was because of that I had to stay in the hospital for 31 days. A nurse gave me a piece of toast and my small Intestines twisted. Since that day I have a 6 inch scar starting from my belly button and extending on my right side. Because of me having this I have been diagnosed with Osteoporosis and various vitamin deficiencies.

Growing up with this was difficult. With me having this there goes about 85% of the foods in grocery stores that I can't eat. When I was little my sister gave me some of her pretzel and I barfed all over my shirt. I was the only kid in my Elementary School with this. When I was in High School I told NOBODY of my condition not even my friends. I did'nt want anybody to take pity on me. The only people who knew I had this was my Doctors and my family of course. One out of 133 people in the United States is affected with Celiac Disease. As log as I stick to my diet I can lead a normal life. Which I do. I work a regular job and have fun with friends.

Morbid obesity, sleep apnea, high blood pressure, chronic edema in my legs, diabetes, joint pain, and now cirrohsis of the liver brought on by the obesity. My days are filled with pills, and doctor visits. I just had an operation to be fitted for a LAP band around my stomach and have finally started losing weight bit by bit. When I was Bouncing full-time in clubs my weight never bothered me, but when I retired from it I gained a huge amount of weight and my health went nuts. Time will tell if I survive.

I dont know the name of what I have cos its hard to remember :-D

But its like if I get a nasty cut or bruise, the bleeding takes ages and ages to stop, so if I got a major cut I would bleed to death in quicker time than normal people.

It's stopped me playing alot of contact sports and stuff, but it will never effect my SGW unless I cut myself on the return key or something!

Is that Haemophilia? Man, that bites. For those who haven't heard of Coeliac disease which Darth has - it's pronounced See-lee-ack.

I have a respiratory tract disorder personally. Plus a serious case of s- you know what on the liver. :P
