I have more than one First Prime

I currently have 3 officers. I made one a First Prime then tried to switch it to the other. However, now I have two First Primes. Is this intentional. I would have guessed only one first prime would be allowed.
I would like to have only one if it was possible.

The two first primes only show up on my command centre page. On the officers page the lable of first prime toggles to the person I assign the First Prime rank.

That happened to me once, I don't know how to make only one because one of my two first primes left right after. Perhaps if the officer you didn't want to be a first prime made himself his own commander and switched back to you later, if you really only want one first prime. Maybe there is another way, that's just a suggestion.

Thanks for the suggestion but I don't think I would like to ask my officer to leave and re-join because I'm busting his rank. I doubt he would feel inclinded to rejoin. Its good to know though that this is not isolated and may be intentional. Perhaps it is because they are from different races. Maybe you are allowed to have more than one first prime if there is not more than one per race.

my officer, brecht, kept his first prime status even when he left me.

And he is still my first prime, even though i am now an asgard
