it would take me 3 weeks to a month of heavy raiding to get to 75mill army. its not that hard, escpecially with the games current economy.

those of you who spent rl cash on the game instead of actually playing it, thats your own fualt.

sure its ok to buy a PPT or SS with $ every now and then to help forum pay the server bills, but buying trillions of naq from other players is your own choice - you take the risk of loseing it from the moment you buy it.

I do look at the big picture. It really is not a problem. Everyone cant be best at everything. This is just a new obstacle to overcome.

Or do you really think that Jason should just do everything you want so that you can be the best.

If so, go play a game with cheat codes so that you can instantly be the "best"

Here it will take hard work and alot of patience, and we may never succeed but we or I atleast will do my best to become a better player. Where I end is really not that important. What is important is having fun and trash talk with your friends ingame :D

you cant lump everyone in with yourself, not everyone invested heavily in up planets without investing in raw up,if you had of thought a little in front of you you would have realised that raw up is way more important,it doesnt matter that i have 12 mil army size, when i had 3 mil army size my raw up was only 2k lower than it is now so my up would still be the same, dont blame forum for your short sightedness

i like the update, you need to work on your UP.
what's the point in saying that now you cant catch up since RAW UP remains more important then anything. dont overinvest in planets, they get taken away in no time no matter the def.

if you all feel this update is bad because you dont feel like raw UP is important well then poehoe, i guess it's time for you all to actually work on your raw UP rather then investing in planets.

being one of the others crying about att/deff/cov planets i now get to laugh
If units were sent, you highly doubt they all made it without at least a few running away. The cowards.

I think this enhancement is not going to be helpful especially for the people who have already invested heavily in their UP planets. There wouldn't be any componsation for them and if anything, it is hindering the smaller players from growing. Let's face it, all of these loop holes have already been exploited by larger players, so by closing this one, you are only limiting the people who didn't have the resources to do it in the begininng. In other words, this UP Planet change is saying, "Well you smaller players are trying to grow now, so we are going to shut it to you even though the larger players have already exploited the same method, just sooner." All it is accomplishing in is furthering the power gap.
I am Jeffmo, you are not, simple fact everyone can agree to.

Theres some sad people out there

We should all protest this 1 sided update that only supports the lower class and the upper class. AND DOES NOTHING FOR THE MIDDLE CLASS.

It's about as one sided as the CoP v CIA war. Wait, people adapted in that and new strategies came along.

Why not buy naq for your raw UP. That will even help you in ascension (tranfer to AP)

Great update, should never have allowed people to bypass the hard cost of UP in the first place.

You may be able to raid from 15mil to 75mil in 3weeks to a month if you had someone feeding you turns but at 15mil uu you wont be able to afford many turns.

It will take months. Thats why people are coming along now and there arent like 50people at 75mil.

Basil Rathbone wrote:Admin you all need to compensate us all for the real money and naq we have invested on here in our planets. Thanks to you all you have just made it easier for the large accounts to stay on top and the small one to stay on the bottom. Admin has really dropped the ball this month starting with the threat of imploding. Which made the market run behind by about 2 days. Then you all made this last update and shut us all down for 24 hrs. Destroyed everyones UP without warning. You all as a suggestion should post in game messages to everyone voting on updates so you can get a more accurate depiction of what is good for everyone. And as far as I see the only people who likes the update are already at a 15 to 75 million man sized army. I remember when updates where few and far between and this game and Admin was more reliable. I have a couple of things to say.

First, anyone who has gone through a mental breakdown can understand Jason's situation that week. Sure, I didn't particularly like the game being down, but I'd rather it was temporary than he try to keep going and permanently quit running the game soon after.

Second, he does not need to compensate anyone. People lose things in this game due to the smallest thing (I'm sure many people have lost a lot due to even the smallest hiccup in the server). People have lost strike from that planet update. Large armies are being slowed down in their progress drastically. There are countless ways in which even slight updates screw some people's strategies up terribly, if only for a short time. People deal with it here, in other games, in real life. It happens.

Third, though I have yet to ascend and this will slow my ascencion recovery, I welcome this update, for a few reasons. First, it actually is better overall to invest in raw UP. "But I haven't ascended yet!" ...Then how did you get so much money to improve your planets to the point that you're losing over 20k UP/planet? Why not just spend that money ascending sooner? Also, it added too much randomness into the lower ranks for UP. If your planet got stolen, or if you found a good one (or hired someone to get you a good one), your UP could change by several factors of 10 in one day. I know many young players who invested a sizeable portion of their naq into UP planets only to lose them to a larger player. This update really shouldn't be affecting anyone with a decent strategy very much, but that's just my opinion.

Fourth, even if it does change market values, the market is still dictated by what everyone is willing to agree on. If suddenly it becomes less effective for you to raid than to trade your AT away...trade your AT away for a nice high amount of UU compared to what it used to be. The possible effect of updates on the market should never be an excuse not to do it (unless it is something like taking private brokering out).

While I agree that updates that happen too often would be detrimental, I don't feel that this is happening.

I believe that when planets came out, they were intended to supplement, not replace. That is the reason behind the "constant nerfing" of the planets over the updates. So you won't grow *quite* at the rate you used to. You're still growing faster than the large players ever did at that army size. You're going to be able to do everything easier than they did at that stage. You're still going to be able to catch up to them with alarming speed, considering they've been playing this game and donating money for far longer than many players.

One last thing I would like to say is that Forum may as well update the income planets right now with the 1/2 cap, as it could potentially affect players to the extent this update has (though I doubt it will do so as much), and I believe people should be expecting it anyway.
