MS attack, bug?

When I spy on someone I see the msg "You also notice an empty MotherShip docking facility... ".

But when I attack them, their MS defends as if it were still there.

eg. "You also notice an empty MotherShip docking facility... ".

Attacked for 15 turns:

Armageddon uses its Nuclear Volley to inflict 22,957,700,000 damage, destroying 4 Energy Shields on Jack O Neil!
Blowing through the extended shield defenses, it also destroyed 7 Energy Volley, and totally destroyed 2 fleets!
Captain Vegetable's Armageddon adds 4,135,319,395 additional attack onto their ground troops!

Jack O Neil uses its Energy Volley to inflict 254,220,500 damage, destroying 2 Energy Shields on Armageddon!

MS defends...

Sorry, is this meant to happen or is it a bug?

When you see "You also notice an empty MotherShip docking facility... " that just means that there is a mothership there, not that it is away from the realm. So it is meant to happen and not a bug.
