Race Changes

If I change race will I keep my "Prophet Of The Tolah" tag?
Will I lose my Asgard/Ancient bonus in def? Or will I get the same bonus for the race I choose and if I do will I get the unascended, Prior and Prophet bonus?

if you change race you become unascended, and the onli bonus you get will be the bonus of the race you choose

u can change from ascended race to ascended race, ie. Ancient to system lord but if u change from Ancient to Asgard u will loose ascended bonus's. It tells you all if you read it

NOTE: You can change advanced race to advanced race as long as you have race changes left to use. There are no ill effects.
BUT - If you change races (to a 'basic' race) you WILL NOT BE ABLE TO CHANGE BACK to an advanced (post ascension) race -- at least not without reaching ascension again.

Advanced Races Benefits:
*Bigger weapons
*Each time you reach ascension level...either initially or with each ascended infusion -- you get a 5% bonus to covert, 5% bonus to attack, 5% bonus to defence, and 5% bonus to income.
(If it was you 2nd 'infusion' after initial ascension, you would be at 15% in all stats, as an example...)
*Be the envy of all basic races!

If you change races to a basic race, and choose to use an advanced race again on repeat ascension, you start at the minimum 5% bonus ... even if it is your 2nd, or 3rd, or 5th, time to reach ascension!
In short - you lose all cumulitive bonuses when you change races away from an advanced race! And cannot choose to be that race again until ascension is obtained again!


On the plus side, you can change races with no penalty (aside from that mentioned above!!)
Your weapons will be sold at cost, and the Naquadah deposited into your offsite storage.
Your cumulitive race bonuses, of course, will disappear. You will revert to JUST the bonuses of the race you choose.


Goa'uld - 25 Percent Income Bonus
Asgard - 25 Percent Defence Bonus
Replicator - 25 Percent Covert Operations Bonus
Tauri - 25 Percent Attack Bonus
