Hey everyone, first time post so please don't go off at me if i inadvertantly breach protocols in any way or if this has been posted before.
I've been playing the game now for about 6 months and the only real issue I have is the surprise outages. How about having a scheduled PPT and/or no login day every 2 months or so where servers can be fixed and bugs ironed out so that shock outages like last week won't occur again or at least occur less regularly. It would also be a chance for admin to properly test new updates.
Admin can post a message on the Command Centre page and therefore everyone will know in advance and fix their accounts accordingly the day before. I doubt people will be too fussed about missing 1 day if it means we have certainty surrounding this issues.
Cheers
Gandalf

they do their best to keep us informed, you should check the forums more often when the outages happen.
besides, its not like they just decide to flick it all off, its out of their hands most of the time (latest was a hradware problem)

Re: Scheduled game maintenance to stop surprise outages
wouldnt be practical... when an outage happens, it happens... they cant be predicted...

"Great holy armies shall be gathered and trained to fight all who embrace evil. In the name of the gods, Browsers shall be changed to carry the internet out amongst the peoples and we will spread Firefox to all the unbelievers. The power of the Firefox will be felt far and wide and the wicked users of IE shall be converted to use the true browsers."
Curious about our color? Feel free to ask...

Maybe there should be the occasional down day though, not so often as you suggested though. I don't know if it would help at all. If it doesn't matter to him then we don't need them.

Re: Scheduled game maintenance to stop surprise outages
Too impractical.
The game admins can't predict when a server will crash, they're in the dark as much as us to when it will happen next.
