I like what MLX stated, though I think he also put it in another thread. Let us choose our title between two. It would be the same statical advantages. Though for tok'ra it would be as if they infilterated up to a high level, somthing that did happen in the series, for you nit pickers out there.
Also since they did infilterate, they would have access to goa'uld tech. Sorry if my spelling is off, kinda sick.

Tok'ra are NOT the same as goa'uld... and that is thing i'd be able to flame about for ages. Not here, to save our beloved moderators nerves...
I was watching Satrgate Sg-1 and the episode "tok'ra" part 1 was on and something Cordesh said that solidified my point better than i could ask. He said, "We are infiltrators. We work from within the Goa'uld. Therefore it is important that we appear to be, Goa'uld."
This shows me once and for all that they are (other than morale values, obvious weakness, and those crystal caves) the Goa'uld and this game would have to present them as such because they have all the same tech and would be no different than playing as a Goa'uld under a different name. And for the record i have never hated the Tok'ra until you have so forcefully pushed for them to be put where they obviously don't belong.
K from what ive seen Tok'ra has been sugested as coming in as a ascended race from the goa'uld.
I got this from wikipedia:
The Tok'ra do not possess and control unwilling human hosts, the primary difference between them and the Goa'uld they oppose. The Tok'ra make use of a voluntary "blending" with a human host; within each single host body both personalities are free to speak and do what each desires in a truly symbiotic relationship. The benefit to a human who agrees to become a host is long life and perfect health, as well as all of the wisdom and memories of the Tok'ra symbiote.
so if its not too come from a goa'uld why not an ascended race from from the tauri instead of tollan rather than the ascended race option from goa'uld? give the ascended race then Tok'ra then a 50/50 split of the benifits into attack/covert, This coming from (also found on wikipedia):
They provide substantial amounts of valuable intelligence and technical assistance to the alliance, serving primarily as scientists and spies among the ranks of the Goa'uld
That way they benifit from a in series effect, to the ingame effect of the tauri/tollan.
Just an idea work from it or knock it off whichever works
