S T I if Jakey didnt do any damage to the big planets then there is a bug. Even with 15times lower fleets then the opposite defences on the planet will cause damage to it...but it will destroy the fleets in the process that is sure. And yes with 10 times smaller fleets you need to hit it about 90-120 times before you get it.....
I didn't say he didn't do damage, i said on a couple of occassions the defences held there power but the fleets dropped so he lost all the fleets which came to about 400 bil each time, that makes 1.2 trill just for the loss & to replace them to carry on.
what you are saying is about a much higher fleet count & a higher % risk compaired to what he was doing so your losses would be much greater.
Now i know what i make per turn & i could not afford to take those losses, so how can you? is there some thing your not telling us

& yes i know there is no defence high enough, its part of the game,
Ah I see...
He must be very unlucky...cause I was practicing these 1/10th power thing andd it NEVER happened to me...destroyed fleets I mean...

I thinks its you who have been lucky or there is a bug, because you explained it yourself.
If you takeinto account the % swing/drop in attack/defence like you said,
if you take your figures of 33 bil strike agianst a 300 bil defence, take into account the swing can be up to 30% for each. if yours drops by any more than 10% & the defence holds its power you lose your fleets
. There is a massive differance between 10% & 30% swing so you see like i said the risk factor is massive.
now if you have been doing it with small amounts the differance can be negated, but when you are talking about a 10% drop on 33 bil strike that takes it down to 29.7 & hitting a 300 bil defence does not get you the 10% min.
How many fleets are you talking about for 33 bil strike & what is the cost if lost. I think it would be about 600 bil +
