Do you like the way that sounds? Of course you do! I love my Xale Titus MK4 and I hate seeing it only having nukes, shields and fleets on it. So here is a VERY SIMPLE idea.

Everyone knows the ascended blessing technology that doubless att or def in battles (which is a nice part of the game and works ok). Why not copy that randomization to MS part of battles as well, which are currently very repeting and nothing random about them? It would give a slight tactical diversity, with allmost no significant gameplay change.

So here is the idea:
Add a ability to construct a fire control tower in the MS tab, and upgrade it to 10 (or any) levels. Each lvl would give a small % chance to double (or any other %) of MS attack in that attack turn.
-To balace it, the price can be dependant on current weapon slots...
-It could also be destroyed if the MS takes enough damage while massing it.
-If that would still be too complicated, it can just be made as a technology in the technology tab.

Same can be made for the shields, like "Shield Control Room" which would increase MS defence power for that atack...

I like it, but do we need ten upgrades? Maybe up to 3 or so, price based on number of slots you have.

the thing about the double damage for ascended is that its their race tech, but i suppose if everyone can have this thing then i'd say its fair

I was thinking 5% an upgrade, meaning that you hit a 15% chance of doubling your attack. 10 upgrades would be fine, saying you have a 2% bonus each time, 20% overall. However, 50% bonus? Too much, imho.
