strange?

so i just ascended (first time woo!), and im on ppt, but i thought hey why not get defence up a bit in order to not get farmed everyday.

so i put 240K UU into defence, trained them into supers, gave them the best ascended weapons, and im tolah so ascended people with one time acescion will know how much percentage extra you get fo your defence with that.

so it only stands at 16 bil, whereas before ascesion, i only had 240K unascended in defence, which were supers with the best weapons, and that gave me about 31 bil.

doesnt that sound a bit strange? especially as the weapons are twice as good, and i have a percentage bonus to my defence

now its 36 bil

but its should still be double surely due to the weapons being twice as good and all. i calculated that the percentage has taken effect, but the weapons do not seem to change anything. are they not twice as powerful, they just have twice as many hit points?

You went from a 25% race bonus in strike to a 5% bonus in strike, albeit you now have a 5% bonus across the board and not just in strike.

A cruel irony of the ascension process is that once you ascend for the first time, you essentially lose 20% of your initial race bonus and must ascend 4 more times to get back to the same level. Enjoy the slightly higher defense, covert, and income though.
