broker bug back

i just lost 120bil naq for 200k uu to it are there any others this is happening to.

and when i logged on no cash in bank or in the open and units were gone.
and i thought i would receive through messages and i opened the read them and im still looking around and i still have none.

woops sorry i see now it was stolen, but dosn't broker send money to back why did it send it out in the open? i wasn't even on to use it so why should i suffer if it was inconvenet to be on.

prohaps it should be switched back to it, because thats kinda unfair.

It most likely sent it to the open since your bank can not hold it happend to me once. 80bil naq ... and that was when i had 800k army ... that was one hard hit

lol but my bank holds 2bil and about a month ago i received 5bil and it all went to the bank.

anyway, yes your bank took 5mil, but theres a big difference between 5 and 80.

e.g. if you have £500 in cash in your bank, and write a cheque for £600, the bank will probably honour that cheque, but write one for £20000 and they wont.

cant remember the maths, but your bank will hold more than the capactity if Naq received via broker, not deposited up to a certain %.

Your bank only supports a certain amount of 'extra' naq.

I'm not sure, but I think your bank can hold 110% of the original size, but you will loose a certain amount per turn.

If its more than 110% it goes to the open.

Ok so you mean after the trade is done? What about before? The naq is supposed to be taken away from your account and kept in the broker till the other person accepts right? Earlier today I tried to buy UU from someone and I sent a broker for 60 bil and the broker was set up but the naq remained in my hand so I had to hurry and spend it before it was stolen. Ive never actually BOUGHT anything with naq before so I dont know if its a bug or thats the way it should be but Im thinking the naq should have been taken away and stored in the broker system right?

to broker someone your Naq, you need it 'in hand' not in the bank. you also need to confirm the broker (press the button twice), so yeah you have to be quick, that's why the Naq wasnt taken away from you.

but you are correct in thinking its held in 'stasis' until broker is complete.

ok. Well it was on hand and it never went to the broker but the broker still set itself up. and the other person accepted it and never recieved the naq.

So I guess now the question is if this has been happening to anyone else

Depending on who sets up the broker... They set up with their naq, it goes into your bank regardless irc...

If you set up for their naq, it either fits in your bank, or goes into open.

It doesn`t work that way


if your bank can hold 20.000.000.000 of naq

and if you trade 1000AT for 20.000.000.001
the whole 20.000.000.001 will get in the open becouse your bank only holds 20bio

strange, if it doesnt work that way we posted, how is it we could get 75 bill naq into our bank, with him brokering us, when our total bank size is only 54 bill?

the only times we have seen it go in open, is when we broker for more than we can store, and when we already have our bank overfilled and he brokers us...

well if he brokers you it will go into your bank and if it is over your storage level you will lose 10% naq / turn
