Can anyone tell me how many AT it takes to destroy a defence, any help is appreciated

Does it make a difference on the number of AT used if single attacks are used or whether lots of 15 are used?

Does it take more AT to destroy ascended weapons than the non ascended weapons?

Does it take more AT to destroy 100k weapons than 50k or even 10k weapons?

Does MS strength have an effect on the amount of weapon dmg at all?

The thing is, there isn't really any simple calculation:

The turns it takes depends on three factors:
The relative strength of your armies,
The number and strength of the defensive weapons,
and a slight random factor.

That said:

1 attack will do more weapon damage to both sides. So as long as they have a defense, one attack is best. Switch to 15 when you AC/kill supers.

Short answer: Yes.

Does it take more AT to destroy 100k weapons than 50k or even 10k weapons?

Yes. Much more.

Does MS strength have an effect on the amount of weapon dmg at all?

Only in so far as MS may add additional ground damage after MS damage is calculated.

I think if you want to do some good weapon damage then sab...make sure your levels are higher than the other person and you keep an eye on covert capacity

At to destroy weapons is massing, if I'm not mistaken ... (nothing wrong with it btw).

well it took 120 15 turn hits to take down my 20bil defence during a war, but i was online for that and repairing.
just assume you do 1% damage per hit so 100 15 turn attacs should do it
