A number of things, Rank 3 strike is around 4 tril, rank 4 is around god knows but it only has 300k weapons trained out of 2M possible.

so lets see while DDE or cop or omega are doubleing their account every week ish or watever, you will sacrafice your growth thus your accopunt compared to dde or watever will become more and more **Filtered** thus the account woudlnt be worth it!

Actually Mordack has done nothing but grow since the account he owns now left CoP hands. Infact, he's increased his influence by 3 ranks, which is quite a bit considering he's top 20. Also, relations between DDE, DD, and Omega is now down to a NAP between the three of us. CoP no longer exists. Another also, DDE hasn't got a single account in top 10, not one in top 20 either, they have one in top 30. What you fear is DD. Dirty Dozen. Get it right.

And the point of spending all of that growth on strike would be? Raiding is useless now.

At the time I posted that, I had rank 3 strike, which was 2trill. Hence my post.

the issue was... Raid limit... i e had to drop rank to rank him but i declared war frist, and then he responded. with a pm.

Ignoring Maddona's problem because I am aware he had the income to untrain all but about say 4million income planets and put the rest into assassins and covert for a while but hey, wanted to see who would suggest it. I think being in TO probably helped as well. I'm not saying what the highest ranked AE account was at the time but yeah.... we play ascension just not massive accounts.

The way I think about it is that to ascend you have to sacrifice 'everything' in main. (well not everything any more) so if you want to allow reverse ascension that isn't descenion then why shouldn't you have to do similar to cross the dimensional barriers?

Of course, that's if you even want to allow it, which I'm not convinced it should be allowed.

You're such a defeatist, Madonnaa. Hensenshi, thankfully, has already saved me the trouble of pointing out where you were wrong. Yes, the COP oligopoly of ascension was a pain in the arse. And if you think you hated it more than I did, then you're probably wrong.

The game wasn't coded that way, though. Eight 'o clock day one didn't include Dirty Dozen and Omega receiving the deeds to the ascended server from Forum in person. Those alliances are in the position they're in today because they worked hard and put a lot into their ascensions. Many of them significantly disadvantaged themselves on the main server in order to be good on ascension. As High Empty pointed out, they deserve to reap the benefits of that investment.

I made my sacrifices, too. I'm a student, and a poor one at that, so I had to sell off UU in order to pay for the purchase of Hensenshi's account. I also had to swap my old main account, which had a total UP of over 350k, for an account with less than a tenth of that. I worked it out last night, incidentally; had I not sold that UU, or sold my old account, then I'd be passing the hundred million barrier around now. Gives me food for thought.

And yes, I built a defense which was three times higher than it needed to be. I'm a cautious player by nature, and fact my account almost got rode over by Dead_Horse.. well, it only served to make me all the more paranoid.
