Lord Katsumoto's Explanation/Warning for all(game hacked)

This post is also located in the warning for all, game got hacked thread, but I wanted it to be out in the open so people could see it.

Well I am finally back on. Everyone can say I'm a cheater or whatever. I am sorry I did this. I was searching through the battlefield and saw a ton of naq. I thought it was 79 trillion. After attacking and spending some money I realized it was 79 whatever comes after a trillion. I have never been involved in any cheating and neither were my officers(The Ace), my commander(Surewar) or my alliance(Bushido). I made a mistake and am here to apologize for it. If this one mistake ruins my gaming at stargatewars I am deeply saddened by that as I have had a lot of fun playing the game but I want to reiterate that Bushido Alliance or any of it's members, my officers and my commander Surewar had nothing to do with any cheating. I attacked what I thought was the motherload of farms and as soon as I realized it could be a cheat I sent a message to gameadmin letting him know. Ask the gameadmin, I sent two messages to them stating I thought I may have attacked a cheater. Sorry for any trouble this cost anyone. Lord Katsumoto

I may have been naive, but the only thing I could think about after stealing the naq was how can I protect myself from someone else farming me. I have only been playing for 4-5 months and may not be as familiar with these types of situations as others, but at the same time I wasn't the only one to make the mistake. Again if everyone wants to mass me or declare war on me or whatever feel free. I just made a mistake. Sorry again.

In addition, I have never read or posted in any of the other forums aside from the marketplace, sgw general and galctic colosseum. Everyone keeps referring to the last time this happened, well how was I supposed to know about the last time. I have only been playing for four or five months(can't remember). Everyone's saying I'm greedy, or I'm dumber than a ten year old, well like I said I may have made a mistake, but now the game is back up and running, and I was not banned. My account is still active, although I recevied a very stern message from admin. I'm sorry I don't pay more attention to the forums, but I never really saw a need for them. I saw an opportunity to boost my account, had never been involved or heard of any cheating, and now I along with people I gave naq to are getting slammed. Let's clear everything up.
1.I farmed the naq from kispunye.
2.I raised my covert as high as possible(level 40) and invested in ms, weapons, planets etc. so no one could steal the naq from me.
3.I posted on the forum to buy UU with naq and traded for a bunch of UU to train as defenders, then more to train as miners so I could increase my bank size.
4.I used my supporter status to give naq to the following Lore, Surewar, The Ace, the numerous UU sellers, and the person I farmed kispunye. I also gave naq to someone who I attacked a bunch for farming one of my officers. He sent a peaceful request for peace and I returned the naq I hit from him plus a little extra.
5.I realized that after 4 hours of spending naq as fast as possible, that I still had 78 quintillion, and that there may be an issue with this.
6.I sent a first message to game admin about what I had done, and begged that he did not ban my account.
7.Phoenix farmed me and then sent me a PM saying to have fun while it lasted cheat. I told Phoenix what happened and proceeded to send game admin another message saying that I would suspend activity on my account until I received approval from them to go on.
8.I went to work and arrived home to see I was booted from my alliance, war was declared on me by a number of the best players in the game, I was being called all sorts of different names on the forum and I am still here.
9.For those of you that have a problem with what I did. I don't care. I made a mistake, I'm man enough to admit that the huge naq I saw may have blinded me for a second. But I did turn myself in to admin twice. I was not trying to spend the naq before anyone figured out, I was trying to spend it before someone stole it from me.
10.The people I do want to apologize to again are my former alliance, Bushido. Sorry for the trouble I have caused you. 11.Neptune and AGOW, I am sorry I ruined the Bushido alliance. I didn't mean to. For as much as it's worth, I enjoyed being a part of it.
12.Surewar You've never been anything but supportful to me, sorry for dragging your name in this.
13.My officers. I've done you all the favor of booting you from my command.
14.Admin Sorry for contributing to this waste of your time.
15.Anyone else who defended my stupid but not intentional actions.

something like that takes guts to say, and its a shame you didnt realise what was going on

of course, if i wasnt aware or past events like this happening, of course i would have done the same action that you did "OMG NAQ! *attack attack*"

I agree, that took guts to say what you did. It sux what has happened to you with your alliance and other players. If I saw that much naq just sitting there I would have been tempted too, not knowing about what has happened in the past I probably would have gone for it like you did. At least others will learn from this.

admin is understanding, he only reset his account. had admin thought he was a cheat he would have been banned.

i hope EVERYONE who judged him as being a cheat reads this and understand that admin did not ban him, he only reset his account to right before the naq hit. if admin didnt think he was a cheat then that should be good enough for everyone else.

Agree with everyone above, this was a genuine mistake, and not knowing the game had been hacked before you probably felt you were in the right place at the right time.
I wish you well in the game pal, and hope no one will take hit you for this, hope your sgw experience is a good one from now on.

If you see what looks a good deal and you are not aware that that aount could ever occur then you are not going to let it slide- that could be your big break in the game.

Also it is a common error to misread an amount, especially if they are all over the place (the numbers are not necessarily in a common line)- there have been times I have seen what looks like good amounts out and gone for it only to find I misread the amount out.

He wasn`t refering to ~Lore~ wich is you, but to Lore. =))

I wish you good luck in your game Lord Katsumoto and that you will not have problems from now on because of this. Also this should teach you a lesson that no one from the game, especialy someone with small size can have more than 2-3 trill in the open... at least not gained legaly.
