Is there anything which limits naq hits?

This is an odd event that I haven't encountered before until now. I just managed to find a great target which had about 480bil naq out. The cause for concern though, is that it took me a total of five hits to get everything, even though all of my attacks went through.
Each attack of 15 turns only took a maximum of 100 bil. So I have 5 logs in my attack log, 4 with 100 bil flat, and the last one with about 80 bil. My question though is if this is some sort of new update, because I know before I used to be able to hit for more than 100 bil naq.

Could this be a bug or the result of nox/critical?
If anyone has any info, I would really appreciate it,

Well, you almost never get 100%... and I do believe nox/rank/attack differential/random factor can take a chunk out of the hit.

However, I do not ever remember 1/4 being 'normal'...

Yeah, especially 4 times in a row :S

The thing is, each of the first 4 hits gave exactly 100 bil naq, until the last one, which gave everything else that was left over (about 80 bil).

I'm thinking it might be something new the admin introduced in light of the events that happened yesterday, to maybe prevent people from taking huge chunks of naq from someone who is cheating.

but also I have to admit that 4 times the exact same amount is weird

are you sure about that? Anyone that attacks me always gets 100% of my naq and i always seem to get 100% of anyone i attacks naq, i know that because i check afterwards just incase

ur s'posed to get sumthing like 75-100% of their naq when you attack without declaring war. declaring war brings it up to pretty much 100%.

I doubt you ever have over 100bil out though
if this truely is an update, then that sucks for the people with big strikes

I just had a shocking experience. I found a nice target with 290 bil naquada, but as i wanted to steal it i just got 100bil (exact). THen i declared war to see if that changes something, but next hit was still 100b.
So i had to attack him 3 times to get all the naq...i guess that annyed him to becasue he had 3x loses ..

I had a look in my attacklog and saw that since a few days the biggest hits were exactly 100b. I guess admin but that in because of the cheat naq, so none is able to steal crazy amounts of naq and bring the game out of balance. This is a good idea to fix the problem, but 100bil are FAR to low.

This 100bil "limit" makes a few people unattackable. A naq hit is only reasonable if the naq you take is atleast defence divided by 10 (so 10bil naq per 100bil def). There are more than 20people out there who have more than 1 trillion defence. They dont have to care about how much naq they have out because it never pays off to attack them. You cant get more than 100bil ...

The problem with cheat-naq going round is fixed, but please change it to 500bil (or whatever) then we dont have this problem until someone build a 5 trillion defence

You know its an ok way to stop them cheaters and all that naq, but this now means that people will be distroyed by bigger guys,

Like imagine, someone with 400bill out, along comes ABC and hits XYZ, they lose say 50k UU a hit, normally it would be 1 hit, now there going to lose 4 x that, its going to be massive rebuild costs for the guy that losing out..... bad update...
