Re: Dvorak...
Its just another key layout for keyboards rather than qwerty.
In fact qwerty was developed to slow typists down on type writers as they were typing so fast that the heads were jamming as they tried to print onto the paper.
qwerty is in fact an over hang from those days, however most people havent heard of dvorak or the other layouts that there are such as the real ergonomic keyboards that cost like £400 & take at least 6 months to learn how to use

Re: Dvorak...
dvorak??? sounds like czech or slovak name... and it's a name:
wikipedia wrote:The Dvorak Simplified Keyboard (pronounced /ˈdvoɹæk/) is a keyboard layout patented in 1936 by Dr. August Dvorak, an educational psychologist and professor of education[1] at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington,[2] and William Dealey as an alternative to the more common QWERTY layout. It has also been called the Simplified Keyboard or American Simplified Keyboard, but is commonly known as the Dvorak keyboard or Dvorak layout.

Re: Dvorak...
I once tried Dvorak (very briefly, with no real intention of switching)... went back to qwerty.
Eventually i'll probably give it a serious go.

Goodie, my friend.... your fingers may be able to type faster than mine.... but this intense wit moves at the speed of sound. You will NEVER be able to keep up with me. But don't feel bad. Not many men can.
ROFL!

There cannot be a God because if there were one, I could not believe that I was not He.
