SGW Marriages and Babies (DD-TO Merge)

A long time ago some clever (or foolish) person discovered you could gather a large group of couples together, usually in a large football stadium, and mass marry them all. The rows of black and white fabrics, neatly ordered are truly a sight to behold.

Why you ask have we opened this thread with such a random paragraph? Well brothers and sisters of SGW sit back read on and we shall enlighten thee.

Over recent weeks we have seen a great influx of blessed unions; who could forget the announcement of a blessed union between TweetyGirl and Freespirit as an example. It came to the attention of members of Dirty Dozen that a new wave of love was floating over the server like the 60s free love and promiscuity was returning.

As a result of this, and being that were not called Dirty for nothing, we sent Genlucky out for a night of drunken debauchery and womanising, all expenses paid by his loving minions. Unfortunately despite reading all the pamphlets and reading material on safe sex, Dirty Dozen’s illustrious leader was caught short in the protection department (we Blame AI for this...someone should explain that a condom is not for making balloon animals!). This is where our story takes a sinister turn, unfortunately after 9 months of debauchery responsibility came knocking upon the gateway to the realm of Dirty Dozen...

Dirty Dozen and the Order are now proud parents...

It is entirely unclear as to whom the mother or father is but one thing is entirely clear, it is a member of The Order. We know that The Order are a responsible bunch so disease control is not needed, we believe Memento is regularly swabbed (something we believe he actually quite likes) so any rumours of itching are completely unfounded.

After a long alimony case the sparks of love formed in the most unlikely of places and it was decided that for the sake of the child Dirty Dozen and The Order would marry and provide a stable upbringing and homely environment for a child to grow up in.

On a glorious Sunny Day in June the happy couple were wed and the child was christened, the Name chosen was Dirty Order to cement the joyous union.

We, the Loving parents of our new child would like to take this opportunity to invite the Stargatewars community to welcome our new child into the world and also celebrate our most joyous marriage.

For those of you interested we do have a lovely list of wedding gifts we would like, such as silver dinner sets and a new fridge freezer with adequate storage for the new mouths nutritional requirements. Also, if possible could I take this opportunity to ask for someone to buy me a Frisbee and a yo-yo, and maybe a space hopper (for those of you old enough to remember them!).

I’m sure you all find the story all very interesting and amusing, but then you wonder what does this mean? This means simply what you most likely already think it does. The Order has joined the ranks of the Dirty Dozen. The teams known as Dirty Dozen and The Order are now one in the same.
We operate from the Dirty Dozen forums, from the same command structure with the addition of The Order Command being added into the mix, from same principles and beliefs that have been instilled from Dirty Dozen from Day 1. We are effectively one team. This is not a super alliance, it’s not a coalition, it’s not an empire; we are one team. The Order will replace Dirty Dozen². TO Div 1 and some DD members will make up DO (Dirty Order). Just so you can figure out what alliances are Dirty Dozen.

In ascension, our tags will read [{DD} Dirty Dozen] or [{DD} The Order] The Dirty Order will follow suit with [{DD} Dirty Order]

In accordance with all of our NAPs. All of our NAPS will remain intact with the original teams as meant until individually contacted about revisions that may need to be made or if we will no longer carry a particular NAP. This is just a notice to everyone to be fully aware of the changes to prevent any extra problems that may occur from this.

As much as I love both alliances to death, It worrys me how happy The Order were to losse there history.. but I dont know the ins and outs of it. So im sure its for the best and a very well done.

Due to our respect and admiration for The Order and their history we have honoured their legacy by leaving their name intact. Our alliance as simply as one now in a dirty but ordered way.
