attatcked but nothing

i looked into the attack screen and saw a guy who had about 20 million naq, i spent 9 turns on it, but when the post battle screen came up it says i massively devastated his army but i got no naq from it . now i am out 9 turns and down 30,000 naq for the repair cost. any idea?

Makes sense... Is there a way around that?

Yes, try again. Just make sure you don't use every turn as you get it. It usually pays to stack a few. Or you could just try not to attack asgard again, but I'm not promoting that (they've been in control long enough )
