I only bought them from a couple of turn changes, and the APP from just a few million probably isn't much in and of itself. But you would probably try to get at least in the hundreds of millions if not billions for it to really add up.

earlier today there were 806 mil on the market. No clue if anyone bought them all or what, but they're gone now.

That'd be over a trillion naq, and at least imo that's nothing to sneeze at.

Well the limit is until you buy them all, but they reproduce new ones so fast it's near impossible to obtain them all.

Don't forget you pay way more than you sell them for so that again makes them not too good for 'storing naq.'

15bil naq = 2,500 APP
10mil UM = 4,166 APP

I have 74,349,534 of all mercs (73mil are Untrained) and gives me 15742 APP if i ascend, not so much

Like I mentioned before, I don't have any g&r to check but I got those quotes from 2 different threads and did (well, tried to do) some calculations.

quote 1: that basically means you get 1 APP every 2400 UM (as prob stated in the ascension table that I don't have right now)

quote 2: 74,349,534 / 2,400 = 30,979 APP and NOT 15,742 APP...
BUT, if your UM only give you half the APP as trained mercs, it suddenly fits again. Considering they only cost half as much as trained ones, it even makes sense. It also means for quote 1:
15bil naq = 2,500 APP
10mil UM = 2,083 APP

I'd be rather interested to know if my calculations are wrong (and what I did wrong)!
