No attacks 24 hours before you ascend

This would solve the problem of massing then ascending.

I was thinkin the same thing just y'day, neway at least 12 hours as many pple go on PPT b4 ascending anyway.. the 12 hours for the pple who wont go onto PPT but maybe have to steal a planet back or farm ascension naq and send it somewhere else for 12 hours or somethin then have to wait 12 hours b4 ascending? i think 12 hours is a good time, or..

any attacks (either all or more than 1 attack on a person) 24 hours before a ascension stay in yours and the other persons attack logs so theres no having not too attack b4 ascending jus stays in attack logs as for my first ascension i farmed the naq i needed to ascend.. that would also solve the problem

it sounds like a good idea but how does the game know you want to ascend, some who reach 1001 dont want to ascend.
I guess maybe a timer counting down 24 hours, which then put you on ppt so you cant attack or be attacked, something like that.

More along the lines of once you click continue past what u need to ascend it checks attacks in the last 12 hours and makes them last for another 12 hours, gives pple a fair enough chance to see if theyv been attacked or not

One point though, as true as that above statement is, is works both ways.

1 - Yes, you should need to be at peace before you reach your enlightened state of Karmic Evolution (which is basically what it is);

2 - No, because when you get that level of power it wouldn't be hard to erase the memories of your killing ways from the masses of the unascended flesh bags.


Either way, I really like this idea.

Strongly against for reasons I posted in another thread similar to this, there is no real covert left in the game, this is it, you want to get back at someone who you know will beat the crap out of you, you attack then ascend. You can only ascend 10x in the game... If you keep getting hit... think who am I pissing off? am I annoying too many people?

Whats the fun in that? thats like taking out the fun that u could actually get away of massing someone, thats the thrill of the hunt trying find out.

Its been part of the game for awhile, why dont u people leave it alone.

The idea would work like vacation mode, you can try to ascend, if you have attacked during the last 24 hours then it will not allow you.

as far as this idea goes i would have to say no because like someone said earlier it would be nice to be able to mass someone like say S T I for example (not that i ever could or would) and then Ascend and save my sorry butt from extinction. it brings another aspect to massing and investigating into the game. also as far as being at peace with one self before ascending wouldn't that contradict all that both the Goauld and System Lords as well as the Ori are about? i feel that they would all feed off of attacking people and then ascending don't you?
