The price of uu and turns (not a moaning thread!)

Now, it seems that Units have doubled in price over the past 4 months...

As have turns...

Is it just me, or is raiding becomeing obsolete, a few more bill in the increase and its retty much level with the amout of uu you get for naq...Which means of course the price of Turns will HAVE to fall, And in turn that will cause (possibly) the price of UU to fall, some economics for yall

So, Enjoy the steep prices while they last , cos i dont see them lasting much longer

Maybe I'm missing something, but wouldn't that be dependant on your average UU kidnapped from your raid farms vs your average naq stolen from naq farms?

Ok, let me think. I attack for 1 bill naq on average, and get around 900 UU from a raid. So the ratio for me would be :

1,000,000,000 Naquadah for 15 Turns for 900 Mining Drone/Lifers

Which is equal to

4,240,000,000 Naquadah for 63.6 Turns for 3816 Mining Drone/Lifers

The market is currently...

4,240,000,000 Naquadah for 280 Turns for 10,800 Mining Drone/Lifers

So I would get 16,800 Mining Drone/Lifers for 280 turns if I DIDN'T use the market and instead raided, which is 1.56 times what I would have gotten if I'd bought Mining Drone from the market.

10k=300bill (30bill per 1k)
9.8k using mts= 260.4bill (16bill per mt, only used full 5x, 7 mts used)
10k= 800k-1mill UU (80-100k average per k)

1mill UU= 640/650bill.

So going by that, to make raiding obsolete the price of ats needs to double. If that happens, then odds are, profit from raiding will double to since less people can afford to do it.

Raiding is still cheaper than buying uu by a long way. Unless of course you don't have the time to raid...

As more people buy more UU, they get more income to buy more UU, so they can afford to pay higher prices. So the price goes up. This is normal economics, but there's a new factor coming into play. 50mill army size limit. Once you reach that, you can't buy UU. Eventually enough people will reach that point that the growth in UU prices will slow. I didn't say UU prices go down, I said just what I meant, the rise in prices will slow.

If you`re talking about ingame resources pricing I think you should savour these prices while they last. Once admin removes the caps/rases them/introduces floating ones the price will skyrocket overnight heh.
