I think Aliens Vs. Predator was the best one so far. Not for acting.. for the fighting scenes
Predator is just so cool
He's the ultimate "bad guy".
I've mostly watched Alien Vs. Predator... mostly.

Of course - Jim Henson is a genius!
Although when I watch it now I wonder if David's groin got it's own paycheck.

The Goa'uld Temptress has returned.

Re: The 80's had the best movies...
yeh i think Predator was great as well...bet you could never tell
it was one of the greatest action films ever made. you also missed Predator 2 (not as good) and Lethal weapon of the list even though lethal weapon only really got good from lethal weapon 3 onwards (in my opinion)
I think Alien vs Predator was ok but it didnt exploit the full potential of either group of films.
I didnt like aliens though, it was more sci fi than mindless killing with huge explosions like Predator
I knew the 80s was a good decade for film but i didnt know how many good films their actually where
i watched alot of the films on that list many times
Predator
Die hard
Lethal weapon
The Untoucbales
Indiana Jones
evil dead: which i saw years ago but cant find the DVD of
Platoon
Full metal jacket
Scar face
and many others theres alot of good films from the 80s and around the 80s

Amadeus was made in the eighties, I think?
One of my favourite films of all time.

I think the best sci/fi movie of the 80's (besides the terminator, of course) was 2010:The year we make contact. It wasn't as good as its predacessor, 2001. however, the story was interesting and a bit odd.

You missed Transformers the movie, one of the greatest films ever and probably the best movie soundtrack of all time!
Released way back in 1986! Only had to wait 21 years for another one!

Why so many taken on that day,
Justice has never been done, but their memory will carry on,
There'll be Glory round the Fields of Anfield Road"
