did not have time to read all the pages. i like most of the updates except the vacation mode. this is terrible that you still get half of your bonuses. this is too much bonuses for someone who can basically hide in vac for ever and still get the bonuses. make it after xx amount of days bonuses run out. coming off vac cannot go back on to vacation for however long you were on vacation or maybe 1 vacation every 3 weeks

So let me get this straight: someone who just ascended today could get up to my levels for 635 trillion DMU cheaper than I can (at least, assuming that the levels are only 30% cheaper than they were previously). So I can kiss 63.5 billion LF down the drain. And the fleet costs are going down so I am losing countless trillions of DMU there. And let's not forget the 500 million planets I lost because of the ill-advised 700 million planet cap. L

Let's recap shall we: Mojo Rising in ascension with the new update will be 1.) losing 63.5 billion LF 2.) somewhere on the order of 300 trillion DMU, 3.) 500 million planets (from the 700 million planet update) and 4.) about 250K LF per turn as my energy flow/energy channeling scores are BEYOND the maximum for the amount of LF we are allowed to recoup per turn. I hope that that is all in all sufficient for you folks to live with. Plus there is a plague which, at my rate of growth, will probably take me into the negative planet totals rather quickly. So eventually you will be able to catch and pass me. Have a nice day.

I agree with wmd about vacation mode. I think it should result in a gradual loss of all bonuses and blessings, say 10% per week. So the first week you are on vacation, you lose 50% of your bonuses, the second week, 60%, the third week, 70%, the fourth week 80%, the fifth week, 90%, and the sixth week and beyond, 100%. Bonuses come back at the same rate. So if you stayed on vacation for eight weeks, the first two weeks you are off vacation, you are still at 0%, then you move up to 10% the third week, 20% the fourth week, all the way up to 100% bonuses after eight straight weeks of being off vacation mode.

From what I'm to understand, diamonds don't go down in price. That's my point, since the beginning of ascended until now we've been lead to believe that everything we spent into LF would never loose value, but now, you've destroyed years worth of hard work. If I had known that two years down the line I'd have lost a good 1/2 or so of it, I'd have invested a lot more into weapons so I could return them at this date.

I have to agree with Hensenshi on this one. You have made it possible for people to ascend with MORE LF, cheapened the cost of FLEETS and LEVELS, and you are saying that our compensation is that we are ahead??? That may be all well and good for people like me and Hensenshi who are ahead. But what about the people who are in the middle and don't have the levels that Hen and I do already? I am sure he won't mind so I am going to use Sinath as an example. He has worked his butt off on his account to overcome the poor ascensions he did early and has managed to build a fairly strong account. However, without compensation, a non-ascended account with a fairly strong ascension could pass him up in levels and fleets in a matter of days. Is that fair? No. There has to be some form of compensation to adjust for the new costs of fleets and levels. Otherwise, you are going to close the gap but those that are going to be left behind are those that are in the middle right now. These are the people who played ascension and made an effort to overcome the obstacles that were put in front of them, rather than just saying, "Oh well, I can't compete so I am just not going to play". For people like Hen and me, you are, in effect, taking upwards of several months of game play away from us, for the arbitrary reason that we played TOO well. Yet when our accounts in main were getting raked over the coals (I lost over half my account in half an hour), we asked for redress and were denied.
So you can destroy someone's main account in half an hour and do away with years and years of hard work but you can't do crap to them in ascension and even if you can, they can go on vacation and still keep their bonuses and their blessing and their ascended weaponry and it is impossible to descend them. Am I the only one who is failing to see the logic here?

you should give everyone their total APP points they sent up there, the earlier they sent the stuff up there the more benefit over time it had on their ascended account, so u don't need to find the PV because it was just used in ascension rather than main!
btw the fleet prices are the same at less than 10k fleets mojo.
the ascended battles are still not right, i'm repelling over too much of the damage that is coming at me.

PS: a 24hr warning would be good before u make the updates live. i'd prefer it took another week to come out then it coming out tomorrow all buggy.

its all coming together nicely
but I still think a full refund is needed for all the LF spent or perhaps just those above the maximums for LF regeneration
say if they only get 50% recovered per turn then the number for 50% is 600 upgrades then cap that off at 600 and refund them the extra LF they spent on that above 600

I thought everybody would receive a certain amount of APP, based on their last ascension. So you get something back, just not all.

Forum I strongly suggest that you wait another week with this update , so there wont be too many bugs when this is implemented in live server. If we ve waited a few months, we can wait another week.

Well ..... after 1 hour of clicking I can say this :
Page 1 makes a damn good farming ground !!!On a more serious note ....
There are 2 solutions imo :
1. Global plague ... everyone is hit losing planets, weapons, levels, etc. but on a logarithmic curve ..... the top are hit harder then the smaller players ... then the game continues with the same cost lvl but with a slight increase of APP:lf rate .... something around 300-500.
2. Global semi-refound ..... we decide on a line for levels where to start the soft caps .... everyone above gets refunded .... they will invest the lf/dmu back but because of the caps they wont have the same lvls. Then the cost of levels can drop a bit and app:lf ration raised. This doesn't solve the problem of the huge difference in no of planets and in a few months I believe the server will return to what's now ..... maybe a few people making massive ascensions will advance a bit further.
PS Going to spend the 7.5 bil lf in dev ..... dnd

give a man a break and let him work on the actualy updates, we we been chewing this forth and back for 3 weeks now, hes tryn to please evry1 while improoving the server, but there are limits to where he can go.
YES big guys will loose some edge, but they keep their head start, yes small ones will be able to grow faster than you guys did 2 years ago, Its called making the server more interesting/challenging. Swalow it up
@HE no ppl wont be able to outrun you cause 1 you ll grow faster still, 2 if they start growing faster (gaining on you) they ll hit the same "plauge" you have... any of this makes sence?.
As for all those "trilions" and "trilions" they gave you the chance to "rule" the game for 2 years youre still on top, and others have to work to catch you, if you work they wont catch you, if you sit idle by they still wont catch you in a while, i m guessing thats where they all went.
@Forum even thoug it doesnt seem so as we are constantly nagging youre doing a great job

I like the idea of an ascension plague, 2 bil planets would be a reasonable place to start it.

I will say this, because of the 700 mil cap that Forum brought in ( a short while ago), people invested in max life, flow & channeling, only now to have it all changed again.
These amounts were not small , so they have a valid gripe.
& yes people who have invested in the sever will feel let down, but they will over come this.
but apart from that forum i can see why you have done these updates. bit extreme to start with
but lets just get back to playing please

I think thsi is a bit close to the ones who are at the top, the updates have not been brought in yet so everyday brings this closer,so not giving them time to recover (& being fair) adjust, same as it will be for the whole server.
so i think this needs to be looked at again & maybe increased, depending on how long it is b4 you do the updates.
