Sounds good BUT. I think fleets are now too powerful enough to steal planets.
It would have been a good suggestion before fleets became that powerful. Now...I don't think fleets need any help.

That's why I suggested plain motherhip, no fleets, mothership would be more powerful than the fleets and have the power to destroy said asteroids/comets/moons.

Hey, you never know, if this is turned into an update, it could actually be good, and fun to screw people over if they get said moons/comets/asteroids, just destroy them once and for all

If it is possible to destroy a moon, what if you could use the debris from the moon as a defense?

I hadn't thought of that.....thats actually a good idea, the debris would surround and theroritically provide additional defense to whatever planet it was orbiting since fleets would probably crash into some of the debris and be destroyed.....

It might even be able to stop motherships from capturing nearby planets for a short duration of time.

It would indeed slow them down since they have to navigate through the debris field

However, there would be a cost as well as the planet's gravity will pull in some of the fragments and cause impacts that'll destory both defenses & resources. And since Gravity is determined by size, the bigger the planet, the more fragments the planet will pull down & less fragments to block the MSs.
