Thanks all for the commentary... ;)

indeed, much of my concern stemmed from having gone several weeks with a 621 bil defense, and only one guy ever occasionally hit me for less than 60 bil... and not that often...

None of those listed were out for blood... that was someone else... :-"

and I didn't realize that 50 bil naq on a 1 trillion defense could still be profitable...
after the updates... and the loss of attack turns...

I didn't use Legolas' calculator enough when it was around,
so I have no idea what the damage to weapons would be on a 2 trillion raw strike,
let alone after adding in weapons, etc...

I should probably do some weapons damage calculations, add in ascended level, and estimate it manually out before complaining... but meh... :smt078

Usually, I try to assess how many supers were lost, and mothership damage to them...

My other concern was a general concern about how this was/is/would effect gameplay.

i sometimes get peeps attaking me for 20bil naq, though i only have a 150bil defense....
still, its hardly above the price of the ATs that they buy.. :S

i wouldnt be hitting your defense for anything less than 100bil, but ive only got 10 attackers atm :P

and I certainly wouldn't hit yours for 15 or 25 bil...
75 bil would get my attention, maybe a tad less... :)

Although sometimes, when I want to farm, or my bank has more space, or less naq, than I want, I do hit for 23 - 24 bil on a zero defense... but only when desperate. 8-[

...much like buying a replacement for something that I have lost,
I find that low-balling my naq hits is the easiest way to find big naq targets

but only if I am just about to run out of attack turns...

otherwise, it's a major fail in that regard...

It also tends to drive Mathlord's attention elsewhere...
perhaps he's one of the super-fast farmers online at 22:00 GameTime... :P

Sorry, I'm a tad confused...

so hitting a 980+ bil defense, with a mothership, for 37 or 55 bil, or even 79 bil
is or is not worth your time?


personally, I would loath hitting a player for 37 bil
when they have anything close to a 300 bil defense...

I'd better be pretty desperate for that...


Depends on your strike and MS.

My strike sucks(700bill), so I would hit you for 50bill(my MS will double my strike) and maybe my AB would kick in to.

With my small strike I lose little UU when attacking, even if it's attacking for such little acounts it does become profitable in the end.

The solution to this would be to build 15trill defense :p :roll:
