It will be a cold day in Hell before the Fall of France or Hellenic Horrors 'screw' Germany. The only thing currently working to that end is a certain part of the not-original population in Germany itself, screwing with the main culture and work ethic of the German People (effectively ruining the country from within, as happened with France, but taking a hell of a lot longer, since the German People and its Kultur are much stronger - Germany having been less dependent on colonies since the early 1900s, whereas France has been a colonial power until 1980, and some would argue she still is).

So while Europe may be screwed by Hellenic Horrors and the Fall of France, Germany will not be. They are clever enough to kick the rats off the ship before abandoning it themselves.

At least this way we all know once and for all for certain, that Germany is the strongest nation in the world when it comes to resilience, rebuilding, restoration and rejuvenation. (In proportion to its limited population and within the territorial constraints it was illegally subjected to, of course.) :D

No, a madman in the Elysée will have little effect on German politics. But they will never admit that. ;) Pretending to need someone is an art form, befitting the High Culture.

Something i forgot to post and just remembered to ask...in the minds of the French who voted for this peace of crap....how the hell is replacing 1 socialist with another going to solve anything?

And before Pops decides to respond...Merkozy...sorry...Sarkozy IS a socialist...by their deeds you shall know them....meaning, Sarkozy supports an institution which is starting to openly show -what MANY people have been saying from the start-that the EU IS a socialist institution.

Silly G.

Socialists throw money to the wind.
EU orders budget cuts.

Socialists spend spend spend to get the economy running (see America, true Socialist Nation at this point in time).
EU cuts budgets to reduce deficits and halt economic degradation.

No.. while the CORE of 'cooperation' in the EU may strike you as Marxist, the Guardian of Europe and Glorious Queen of Civilization Angela Merkel keeps the socialist scum in check.

I know you would have voted for Marine Le Pen -if you were french- for her reject of EU, she who happens to, despite her euroscepticism, have an almost socialist and "statist" economic point of view, even though she praises a semi isolated state from "globalism", such view you'd be fond of.

+1 to Juliette's post. Even though US socialist, well, cannot be as much as it will be with new french president...

Avenger sees socialists everywhere lol.

EU orders budget cuts ??? Where ? In National Governments, NOT the budget of the EU super-bureaucracy itself.

Biggest problem with socialists isnt just that they spend lots of money, it that they want everyone else to give them their money because they think they should spend it for us.

Just as socialist national governments want to take money out the pockets people and spend it on their behalf, the EU wants to take money out of coffers of nations and spend it on their behalf.

Mezz said it for me...but i will add, at the top, the core leadership of the EU are TOTAL and UTTER communists who sit unelected. look at the structure of the EU and look at the Russian Communist Govt and make a checklist for yourselves to see just how closely related they are....

There's a saying...If it looks, swims, flies, walks and quacks like a duck, the odds are that it's a duck! regardless if the damned thing calls itself a swan, it's still a damned duck!

@Jim, having learned what i have learned over the past few years mate, i would not vote for anyone unless they have a plan to get rid of the central bank in my nation...for me, there is only 1 political group which is willing to do that. they also want to restore the Magna Carta, return to common law, get out of the EU and ABOVE all of that-get rid of the central bank called The Bank of England-and that group is the British Constitution Group...not even UKIP (which in my research am now being more and more convinced UKIP is on the payroll of the EU, and is used for controlled opposition) goes that far.

I don't want extremist ideals or groups in leadership positions. all i want is a Govt that respects and defends my freedoms...nothing more and nothing less!
