teens and young people who are still stuck into the "I revolt against traditions"

None of which categories I belong to in other words.

Wrong, it is not the place of Govt to tell me anything...unless i have caused harm, property damage or fraud. otherwise Govt works for me (or is supposed to anyway), not the other way around.

If you (or anyone else) cannot understand that then you are nothing more than a slave and deserve all the Govt you will get....just like those stupid Jews (yes i said that) who did not stand up when they should have.


@Jim, we had this conversation before but i will say it again...Govt has no business telling us anything. if i want to wear a seat belt i will, and if i am stupid enough to be involved in an accident then it is my fault, not the Govts for not making a law that requires me to wear a seat belt.
I've been driving for 27+ years and in all that time i have not been in any situation that i thought "i am damned lucky i wore my seat belt" or "damn! that was close, i'm wearing my seat belt from now on!". you can call it luck if you like, i call it being taught how to drive properly by my instructor.

Life isnt about absolutes or extremes, it's all middle ground and compromise, no one wants a 'wild west or mad max die at any minute' life, and we all acknowledge the need for laws to protect us from each other, what I ( and I think KMA ) believe is that we should not have laws to protect us from ourselves.

Oh and whats you beef in the post further up about weed smokers listening to reggae ??? I happen to like both and am certainly not a loony lefty

All of the people whom I came in contact with who were reggae listeners & weed smokers happened to be left wing if not far-left wing! So yes, that would be logical they would vote for a left wing candidate...

Really, cause I smoked weed for 15 years, Reggae wasnt my usual tune but it's pretty good when chillin, and from my experience, certainly me and my mates, weed smokers dont vote at all lol

Personally I only voted once, year I turned 18 and that was a Conservative vote, by the time of the next election I had realised it really didnt matter what party was in power, they're all full of s**t

Correct MMEZZ. it comes down to being responsible. if you look at American history (aside from the English backed and provoked wars with the indigenous American Indian nations, and the English stoked and backed civil war) America had the least laws of any nation i know of-post Roman Empire (correct me if i'm wrong), and yet the "west" was not the uncivilised gun totting and gun slinging "Mad Max" style civilisation Hollywood would have you believe. in fact people were responsible for their own action, God fearing and respectful.

What i believe is that local authority's should police themselves. Govt should not have that right, they also have no business telling me anything about anything...unless (as i keep saying) i cause injury/death, cause property damage or commit fraud/theft....PERIOD! this will force people to take responsibility for their own actions. as it stands most criminality goes unpunished. the war on crime is an utter disgrace and failure because criminals know (in the UK at least) that the law sides with them. someone can break into my house, i find said someone standing over my kids about to do something and i beat said someone half to death, drag him out of my house and call the police and it is me that goes to jail...because after all, those that make the rules say that's what should happen and i should just live with it.

Nothing will change until we relearn to start taking responsibility for our own actions. if anyone fails to see the logic in that, then you are children and should be treated as such.


@Jim, i am not calling for "mad Max" style social order, and my guess is you have no idea what a true Libertarian believes in. you want to live in a nation where you have to be told to wear your seat belt and if you fail you are punished, be my guest, but my point is that people shouldn't have to be told, they should instinctively know what is right and what is wrong. Govt has no idea what is right and what is wrong and couldn't teach right from wrong if they were lying in a field of right from wrong and were covered from head to toe with right from wrong flowers!
