So what say you brothers and sisters?
A few people who caught wind of this topic actually made a point to contact me defending our race tech, they've asked me not to share their reasons or their aliases but I've taken their suggestions under consideration and still feel that our race tech is not suiting for gods such as ourselves.
As Esker pointed out yes most of us will only be in the mortal form for a short time before we become 'Living Gods'. But I'd love to be the one Goa'uld who helped my brethren in some way. But to do that I NEED all of your help and ideas.
I'll let this topic stay open for another day and then I'll ask Esker to close it - so as not to hurt what good graces he's built up with the other mods.
After this topic is closed I will be posting a poll with any ideas and suggestions for our NEW race tech in the 'Game Suggestions' forum. Again, this will all be for nothing if you guys don't support this together.

You know, maybe our race tech wouldn't be so bad if they just re-worked the numbers, for example, made a higher percentage (100% would be nice) of enemy casualties converted into UUs/Umercs, or something to that effect.
But we definitely need to change the names of our weapons. Targeted Gate Weapon is a bit of a stretch and Invisibility Tech sounds weak. On top of that, I don't think that Goa'uld make very good ninjas--we might need a more aggressive-sounding defensive weapon...

As I said, I would prefer Al'kesh over targated gate weapon. And maybe Kull warrior armor over invisibility tech.

i am actually fine with how the tech works. but i'd say it has to be improved to 10 and 20% (instead of 5 and 10). And we have to be getting uu's whether we win a fight or not. In addition to that i'd say we should be also getting uu's from enemy anti-coverts and spies killed.
then i'd be fine with the tech.
well, i wouldn't enjoy it then too much since i'll be ascending in max 2 weeks

My idea for your race tech is this. When you attack someone, a number of their troops see that you are a god and thus they come over to your side with their weapons. I put it quite simply so please, expand on this idea if you wish.

Alright I've heard some good points and bad points from each side and although I am somewhat biast about wanting to change the goa'uld race tech. I still want to give everyone the benefit of the doubt in convincing me this race tech is nearly as effective as all the other race techs out there. I'm also giving other who agree with this change a place to 'suggest' alternative ideas. Although this has been brought up many times in the past I feel thats even more proof that something must be done.
And so as not to seem greedy or whiney like some of the other goa'uld in the past, let me just say that I have much appreciation for what this game has turned into so far. There have been good and bad changes, and in my eye's this is just another bad change that has been made. So when we put forth ideas remember that we really are trying to make this game more enjoyable, at least from the goa'uld side of things.

how about we get 50% of the dead that died, including enemy and friendly deaths.
think about it, 50% of the time u cant attack the asgard ffs. So 50% of the time u should get the dead made into untrained

the % of self dead recovered is the repli's unique tech.
thought you might want to know.

Funny how that too has nothing to do with their bonus... Although I couldn't care less about the legos I still feel that our Unique Techs should at least be based around our actual bonuses. Like if the assgards have 50% chance the defend themselves without taking any damage that works in their favor doesn't it? Because now not only can you not hit them 50% of the time but by the time you do hit them they're defense bonus makes them almost impervious to your attacks.
THATS why they are in control of the universe!... I'm really trying not to lose my cool about this but the evidence of how crapy the goa'uld race tech is just over-flowing...

so which one are you asking for? i've been pushing for a naq generation tech to be goa'uld unique tech. only the goa'uld would have it.

Well that would be really nice but I've never really seen any tech from the show to support that.
Out of the ones I've listed I think the top three that relate best with out actual Bonus would have to be...
1.)Valqum
2.)Renaimation Device
3.)Nerve Agent
Though the one that would seem to best suit the Goa'uld based on what we've seen in the show would be...
1.)Zatarc Weapon/Brain Washing
2.)Longrange Communicator
3.)Transport Rings
Which coinsidentally all affect Covert... Haha go figure...

I know i revive old thread, but well It is a really good idea.
I think however we should not change invisible tech name...
But the targeted weapon...pffft....how can you can 50k targeted weapons?
That is illogic at 100%.
The hand device should replace Death gliders, which now are in fleets...rest mentionned looks cool
