Goa'uld: Race Tech

Honestly now have any of you ever thought that our race tech sucks?.. Until recently I haven't said a thing because I had no better suggestions for our race tech. I was wondering what my fellow Goa'uld had to say on this matter. What suggestions do you have?

While we are on the topic of improving our race tech, what do you guys think about our major defensive weapons?

Personally I would like to see our major defensive weapons become Goa'uld Starbases rather then Invisibility Tech. I've heard people claim that these starbases don't have weapons but thats never been proven. Since the only one we've seen from the show happened to be completely neutral for the safety of the system lords.

Well.. What do you all think?

What do you mean? Don't the Tauri have defense satalites? I consider it an even trade-off...

Targeted gate weapons? hmm.. Come to think of it I would like those to be changed as well, but I'm sure thats been brought up in the past and never was changed.

As for our race tech, I think our best bet is to have something more characteristic of the goa'uld. YES goa'uld need hosts but it's also true that goa'ulds are power hungry ego-maniacs, bascially contradicting why we would even need so many hosts to begin with.

Basically our race tech sucks and EVERYONE knows it. Not to belittle all the work that went into that feature, but whoever designed it really didn't think of how inaffective it would really be.

Besides, aren't the race techs suppose to work on the basis of the race's actual bonuses??? If that is indeed the case we SHOULD have a race tech which allows us to steal more naquidah per attack, and/or the ability to keep more naquidah from when our enemies attack. What do you think?

cause use ore elkesh and gliders and mothership hatakk klass in the serie and target gateweapons are for defendsive

Yeah, the invisiblity tech is ok as a deff, but I think Al'kesh should be our best strike weapon for our soldiers. NOT Targated gate weapon, coz it kind of bothers me, what do our jaffa do? Blow up every planet we attack ? Coz that's what our weapon do. And about the Ion cannon being able to destroy our Ha'taks, well we can assume that now we all have Anubis's shield, in which case the ion cannon can't damage us. Not even with 1000 shots.

I agree for the best strike weapon and maybe reconsider handheld cannon power...and get off that full jaffa army replaced by Canon or Alkesh

Bottomline most goa'ulds agree our weapons should be changed.

WELL I'm a System Lord now... but I do remember that horrible race tech...

Trust me, I complained as loudly as I could to all the people I knew (and that's pretty loud, and to a lot of people) and it was strengthened, but never changed.

As for the weapons - Are you complaining about the names, then?

The petition is for the race tech change but I don't think anyone would care if the petition was about both changing the names of the weapons and changing the race tech. I'm sure you did try to voice you opinion Esker, but the reason no one probably listened or cared is because the admin isn't going to change anything about the game unless the majority of the public agrees with that change.

You can move it if you want but this was suppose to be a rally for support not the actual suggestion, we still haven't agreed on what is to be changed yet. I'm still waiting for more suggestions about our race tech.
