uploading from your machine would be fine, but linking to offsite avatars breaks the tables.
Go to your profile he imposed a 200x200 limit on off site avaters not banners i changed my avater to fit with it and down sized my banner but any one whos got a lager avater who has already has it registered will have to change them selves or the mods one would have to remove it.
Ps i'm not going to down size my banner again as i have to re-do the whole thing to blend it in properly. This at least the 5th one ill end up doing this,against my wall if i have to do it again.
no, linking to an offsite avatar does not effect the size limits, the only way to impose the size limit is to disable offsite linking and to enable upload and galleries.
