i have to disagree slightly,as you are all right that there are many people going missing everyday,i believe that the media hae joined dozens of nations and millions of people together to help search for this little girl!!!

hmm not sure if thats a good thing though. All they seem to be doing is broadcasting how useless the Portugese police seem to be...is that helpfull? imo that would give the captor confidence

the reality is they are both idiots and arent fit to look after children, they should have the other 2 taken from them

I think it is only appropriate that the higher classes in human society get more attention from the media... frankly, who cares about the child of two bums being kidnapped? Local news, at best. Besides, who would kidnap the child of two bums anyway.
Now, a child with two parents from the higher classes, they are more logical prey. More money, more attention, and a healthier child.


Like I said... higher classes deserve more attention. They *matter* at a higher level. Bums matter to the street they hang out in. Doctors and academics matter to the World, if not the Galaxy. Simple, basic prioritising.

And I doubt this child was part of these above, so I would classify it as much worrying as the other new mentionned in the topic about two girls abucted in buckingham. The first isn't more bad than the second. They deserve same amount of time in news. And deserve to be in them.

What can I say... it's an imperfect world.

You want equality? All humans are *not* equal. Equally valued, perhaps... but not equally deserving of anything. Not money, not health, not attention. The "Universal Rights" are more like actual guidelines... and they are flawed like hell. Intently so, to put your minds to work. But what do you all do!? Well educated and high classes ones don't deserve anything more or anything less than other ones. Feodal point of view with priviledge and superiority given by blood is away, since we know it by scientific facts. It's a tragedy for sure - and unfortunantly, it is also media circus.
While that may bring good attention to the case, at the same time - the inordinate levels of attention and speculation seem (to me) to also have a negative affect on my concern.
I hope the good outweighs the bad and the child is found.
