Influence now is the 100% deciding factor on your rank. It is a figure calculated from the number of planets you have and your charisma. If you set your alarm to be around for the end of the auction just remember that the DMU is distributed at the start of the next turn. I would hate for you to get up and then have to wait 15 minutes
