Now would be great time look for someone with great expertise to offer your skills to Forum after this ordeal is dealt with. I would offer to help but I am only learning about programming at the moment.

Oh and for all you inpatient ones, would you rather Forum talk to you or correct the bug? Go to bed and maybe by tomorrow SGWs will be back in shape.

And from the reports of people who were and still are logged in there isn't enough people on do much damage. Forum will probably restore damaged accounts and give PPT out to everyone.

Another word of advice, if you are currently able to login on the server log off until the problem is solved. And for those that are repeatedly trying to login I would suggest stopping. I am sure the server is slow as it is with thousands of people trying to login at once. If we get everybody off the server something might reset and allow us to access it. If you are worried about not getting back on today, well, chances are anything you have done in the server with your account is going to be reversed quite soon.

The amount of currency you put into the game shouldn't mean jack. You donated that money specifically for the designated amount of turns, units, ppt, and naq. Nowhere was it stated that you would get special status above the rest of us making you part of the nobility or some such, and therefore you have no right to request special status.

Frankly, its exhausting. One mishap and when its not fixed within three seconds, people get all up in arms about their money not being well spent and demain either reimbursement or compensation. Well, boo hoo. The fact that the game exists in the first place and has anywhere near decent quality goes right over their heads. All that whining and complaining, its not going to get anything fixed sooner, you know. Report the problem, then sit back and wait. That's all you can do, less you want to make an idiot of yourself. You want to do that, that's alright, could you please do it somewhere else?

Once again I am saying this, if you are logged on RIGHT NOW, please log off until this bug is fixed. I am sure Forum would be a little less pissed if the server wasn't being accessed when he comes to work with it.

From looking at a error messages I recognized something. It appears that the log files that document every action we take on the server is either glitched or too full. If that is the case whoever is on could be backing up the system even further.

i can understand all sides , as a player i love this game and would like to play when i want to. and as admin, as i have ran DC hubs and the like in the past , i know how anoying it can be when hunderds of ppl **Filtered** about the smallest things, but i wouldent call this A SMALL THING . and is there only 1 admin for all 3 games ?

thay could just post saying that thay know of it, and a ruff time frame on its repair

Coincidence this happened within 24 hours (or thereabouts) of switching back to stargatewars.com. I'm assuming admin has switched back to the live server?

I'm no expert in php or programming etc but I would hazzard a guess and say a disk or partition is full.

Maybe a preveious version of the game (pre the planets update and switch to stargatewar.com) is saved on disk somewhere as a 'live' backup and this is whats eaten all the disk space?

Of course I could be totally wrong!

I would like to say sucked in you loosers who have payed real money and are getting pissed off, the dude above is right paying money dosent make you holier than anyone else. Look at WOW thats down all the time (or lagging real bad) and you HAVE to pay for that to play it. Here its OPTIONAL and contributes to a small section of the game if you do. Never did anyone claim money exempts you from unforseeable (or foreseeable) technical problems. so stop you whinging and go outside and GET A LIFE for a few hours then come back and get off on micromanaging your UP or whatever. Hey if you are so emotionally distraught and since you obviously have money to waste, when the server comes back up you can BUY your way back up the rankings, and then boast about being #1 in the acsended realm on MSN in the hopes it will get you a girlfriend, and bring back your wasted childhood.

BTW im not knocking SGW just some of the looser whingers that play it. And no Im not stupid enough to reveal my account name so you peole can mass me.

So you seem to be saying that me riding dirt bike for about 7 hours today with 4 of my friends, then coming home and talking to my girlfriend, then cheacking game means I have no life? just becuase I cheaked the game? gee... I think 20 bucks that lasts forever is better then spending 3$'s on a gallon of gas that gets you about 30 miles... so, If i have no life, I guess ill just sit here tommorrow instead of leaving my house.
