I know if I was God, id be saying to you, why do you deserve to get that job over everyone else? Because you ask a few people to pary for you? or because you sit there begging me for help, instead of continually working at practicing for it yourself?
I think that is half the problem with Christians, they seek out God as a way out, as a safe guard, as hope. You claim to have free will, and that god gives it you, yet you do so much to hinder such claims. *Points to Bruce Almighty*.
be the miracle.
Like a child, we may ask, but not always recieve. We are still ignorant children who can't see the bigger picture of what is right for us.
Soulless might have not gotten the job, because it wasn't meant to be. Maybe he is meant for something better, or that somebody else deserves the job.
There are an infinite amount of jobs out there. There are only a few that suit any person. His ways are mysterious, not meaning that he doens't exist.
Like our intricate bodies, the brain is not fit for the role that the kidneys play and vice versa. It's not an example of how God doesn't exist. It's just further proof that He works in ways that we cannot see.
God helps those who help themselves. He gave us choice to do what we can. Through hard work, he gives us blessings. Asking God, is not a shortcut, it's like a guiding hand.
By the way, if you have nothing constructive to say, Please, don't respond at all. And I find it insulting that you would compare real life to a comedy movie. If I say, I watched Harry Potter, Thus there must be a hogwarts, would you say I'm credible?
PS. Soulless, sorry that you didn't get the job. But I'm sure there is greater opportunity
