Paul wrote:thats funny its probably named tesla tank, because he created the particle beam weapon (AKA The Death Ray) and he even shared his research with soviets :P

I also forgot to mention he created neon lights, but seriously chek out HAARP
I am familiar with Tesla, however I believe its called the Tesla Tank due to those being Tesla coils on it. You know whats fun, Van de Graaff Generators

Most of Tesla's research is an urban myth thrown over the top.
I trust the subject will be treated with that in mind.

;)

Oh, and I would be careful with claiming Tesla's research as 'American'.

Discovering electricity and the light bulb are pretty important too, thank you Edison. Also, Tesla counts even though he isn't a natural born American right?

EDIT:  Seems someone beat me to it, I would guess that wherever the item is invented would be the country that gets credit, no?

Leave it to the Dutch to disagree with that statement, mate. ;)

Well, according to my Big Book of Facts, Tesla was born in 1856 in the Austrian Empire, Moved to Hungary in 1881, Moved to France in 1882, Moved to the USA in 1884, and then finally died there in 1943. 25 years in Austrian Empire (Too lazy to figure out what it would be today :) ) and 59 years in USA, so really depends on what makes a persons nationality, majority of time spent or place of birth.

That statement is pretty open, indeed many of his discoveries were made in America, but not all.

Knowing that something happens and knowing why are two different things
