I don't mind that it's down so much as the lack of info about it seeing as the forums are still working fine. A simple "dammit, it's all borked" would be better than nothing, at least we would know forum is on the case, or at least knows it's broken.

Lack of info is the norm for this game and it is not really good enough. There is a forum here, how about it gets used for annoucements? Whether or not there will be a rollback, a ppt, is there an expected time for a fix? All these things would stop players posting and getting worked up about not being able to play AND not knowing ANYTHING!

if you can confirm that forum actually knows about it then i'll be happy. I'd be more happy if you put that in the announcements mind you...

And am i just wearing my fingerprints out here? I was TELEPHONED at flaming 4.30am this morning, how would you like some random phoning you up at 4.30am to tell you they can't bank their naquada? I think the phrase WTH mate springs to mind, anyhoo i got up and came here to find out what was happening and what do i find?

As per countless thoughtless requests, here is an official statement from the team at Kingdom Games LTD. The game is "borked". For those of you with the ability to see further than your nose, what this means is we are having some major problems and we are all pulling together to both fix the issues and also keep you informed with a healthy forum presence. As soon as we have something other than this to report, be safe in the knowledge that the problem is being resolved. We apologise for any inconvenience brought upon you by this "borking".

There. Happy now? I expect not, but then that just outlines why you don;t deserve my time

ITs says, that the error is being fixed, that more than enough.

admin should give ppt to all for a hour or 2

you mean 2 hours ADDED for PPT, so that those who got it before the crash aren't penalized ^^

Actually I have a server. Server for about 4000 game users for playing card game TAROK. We produce about 1 Gb log in a week. And we monitor everything... who, when, what, from where, etc...

Network server is something sompletly different than game server.

So really you're just confirming that we need an annoucements board for times like this Goo. After all if forum just posted in annoucements then you wouldn't have newbs pestering you for information you probably don't have, neither would the rest of the mods, this thread would be non-existant too...

So, go make an announcements forum then we can all be happy

But if admin doesn't know of the prob, and - sending an email isn't possible anymore - how can we expect any responce?

I suppose _someone_ has the ability to contact him when it's daytime in USA again; I just hope at least one of thise someones are in this forum.

One minute you are asking for work on the issue and accusing admin of doing nothing and then you are asking him to come here and do my job? What am i here for? Scotch mist? What you are asking for is ridiculous, anyone with half a brain can work out what the problem is, and anyone who tries to log in and can't knows the problem is not yet resolved. What more do you need to know? You want a step by step report of how many times Forum has beeen to the lavatory during this problem? If my telling you the issue is being resolved is not good enough for you, go elsewhere and bother someone else, because frankly you are boring me now.

Don't argue with me or try to mix up my words ad certainly don;t attempt to tell me how to do my job, you will fast find yourself on the "bang" end of a very short fuse. If you are unhappy, do something about it yourself. It's not my problem your life revolves around an online game buddy.
