Well, I've found it difficult to tear myself away - so I've been gradually going through SGW 'cold turkey' over the last couple of weeks - weening myself off it.
As of this Friday I'll be off, probably giving my account away to someone.
Many thanks to all those who have offered good wishes to my daughter - both in here and via MSN - you will be pleased to know that she has fully recovered and acts as though it never happened!
Kids are brilliant!
Buck - let me know where and when mate - and I'll try and make it (as long as I'm not on deployment!).

My account has now been given away, and my SGW gaming days brought to a close.
I will, however, keep appearing on the forums every now and again to ensure that the place is kept clean and tidy - so you'd better all behave, because Santa Wolf knows if you've been good or bad!

i met you once-well i attacked you because i thought you were an inactive acount(this lead to me losing all my armoury) and i recieved 1bill, from what i know you are a really great guy, willing to help a noob, and at that, a noob that attacked you. Cheers, hope your daughter is totaly fine.

I was going to step down from my Admin/Mod position at the end of April, due to being reassigned at that time, and knowing that I will be deployed all over the world 60-70% of the time for the next two and a half years.
However, certain situations, incidents and decisions over the last few weeks have helped me to decide to finally cut all ties with SGW (having quit the game back in December) and step down from my position within the mod team.
I have made some good friends over the last 25-26 months and will be sad to lose contact with some of you. However, I have been discussing a possible get together with some players in either Glasgow, Edinburgh, Manchester or Newcastle (I'm sure we picked one - I just can't remember which!), and buck has told me that I'm more or less ordered to teh next one!
I would like to make one last statement/request:
Shaitan has done a hell of a lot for this game/forum - more than a lot of you will ever know - and I'd just like it if he was given a bit of slack from the accusations he receives. I can at times understand them - but trust me, they are generally unfounded!
