not really. no entering or trading or atacking other members during war... i mean u can attack only the other alliance and trade only with members of ur own alliance.

jason, lets spice up this war-game a lil and make wars worth it to fight.
of course we would need to think of ways to prevent abuse, bu im sure we can find ways to minimize that risk. also, the normal "wars" without even declaring war can still take place...
as said the war prices for starting an engagement is one way dealing with that.
for example, jsut an idea:
omega, rank 1 is declaring war on noob alliance, (same applies for other way round)
the costs to declare a war will be exorbitant high due to the power difference, infact so high that it wont pay out getting a 5% income or UP bonus 2 weeks long, and the other stats (att,ms,e tc) can be reduced for such an war .
but omega vs DD (second in ranking): price to have a war will be high but the winner would benefit from it greatly.

i just thought i would add that i love these ideas. I liked ston's ideas about different types of wars.
Just thought i would voice my support for this idea, even though i don't have anything else to add

I prefer the freedom aliances and its people have to do what they want in wars, establish their own rules of engagements by comunication and diplomacy. I dont want a button that would just start a war and set objectives. Takes all the work and involvment out of the war.
If you go into war it is the responsibility of the people and its leadership to chose the way to fight that war, what their objectives are, and how to accomplish them for the best of your alliance.
Imagine USA going to Iraq saying "ok we will just fight air combat".

Make it so the leaders have to agree on how much war experience wins or a certain amount of days?

why not make it just the winning alliance receives x number of full days income of the losing alliance.
for eg, with x = 1
the prize would be the total alliance income (maybe uu as well) for 48 turns.
SIDE NOTES:
-Maybe 5 days as standard as that is the length of wars
-Maybe it is combined both alliances income for 5 days as prize
